This game is so fun!!!

This is an excellent edition of a fantastic game. Dominion is the first deck-builder and it is nice to see it get a touch up. I say touch up because thats really all this is. 6 cards were removed and 7 cards were added. The 6 that were removed were ultimately not useful cards once you purchased a couple of expansions. Without getting too complex, the cards intended purposes became irrelevant, diluted, or not very efficient with most of the cards and abilities added in later expansions. With that being said if you plan on only playing the base game then there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with purchasing the 1st edition. Youll love it and have a blast.

This is one of the best starter deck building games out there. Wide variety of cards, easy to learn, and very well polished and balanced. New players will catch on easily.

I played a friends version and decided to buy my own. Cards came in multiple plastic wrapped units and needed to be sorted upon arrival. The game comes with a nice insert to organize your cards. Cards are thick and crisp and felt like they will last a long time. The instructions are quite clear and at the end, it contains multiple different combinations to play with the base set in addition to combinations possible with the expansions. I would recommend this version over the original as a few of the bad/useless cards in the original have been replaced with more interesting choices. Great game!

Quick to learn, but with variying levels of difficulty depending on how you arrange the cards. Love the versatility.

Excellent game, one of the best ever. If you put your cards in sleeves-and you should-, the plastic insert in the box in the first edition was not very well-designed to hold them. Slots for gold, silver, copper were not wide enough. The box design in the second edition makes an attempt to correct this but still does not get it right (width of slots is ok but now the length is just a little too short). Workable, but you need to force the cards in. Overall still a 5.

I borrowed this game from a friend for my wife and I to try it out and see if we liked it and wanted to buy it for ourselves! we love it! It is a great deck building game with close to infinite game combinations so it can be different everytime. This is also a great two player game! Get it already!
