> 3 dayThis child safety handle device definitely does the job. It doesnt prevent access into the room from the other side since my handles turn independently. Sturdy.

Greater than one weekToddler got to an age where they were able to open these lever-handled doors. This handle lock kept them inside, and I am so grateful. We are in a rental where there is no deadbolt, and there’s only 1 lock on the front door, which the child can turn as well. We’ve found him outside on two occasions, and that was scary! I thought I had left the door unlocked and opened accidentally the first time, and when it happened again, I realized he had figured out how to unlock and turn the handle! Needless to say I was scared out of my mind that he could escape that fast, and this has helped immensely. I no longer have to worry that he’s in an area where he shouldn’t be. Also installed on for the garage door, which he is always trying to get into. My only request is that there is a three pack, because 2 probably is not enough (ideally) if you have small kids. Easy to install, and you can flip it either direction depending on your door handle design, so play around with it before taking that adhesive off!

> 3 dayI was frustrated whenever i’m in my room and my little brothers barged in while i was focusing on my work. I’ve tried many different door jammers from a steel bar jammer to a portable door lock. The problem with my door is that the lock can be opened with just a coin and i’m not planning on changing the locks. And whenever i jammed the door with those stuff, they would still be able to turn the knob and take a little peek inside. Once i got this product and installed it, they can’t even turn the knob. I’m so happy with this purchase and I’ll put more around the house especially in the bathroom since they like to barge in while someone is in the shower.

> 3 dayKeeps my kitty out of the bathrooms and office and keeps her in her room when shes on a timeout for misbehaving. Only negative is they peel off the paint on the door when removed.

> 3 dayI purchased this product to keep my toddler from turning on and off the water. It did NOT work for that, but isn’t designed to. I use it on a couple of doors now and it works great. Adhesion is great even after I attempted to use it in a wet bathroom setting. If BOTH of the little bars are blocking the door lever, then anyone on the other side of the door is locked out. But that is easily avoided by putting only the bottom bar out; that keeps my 18month old from opening the door but someone on the other side of the door can lift the lever UP and open the door. This solution may not last as he gets older. Pros: Easy to install, great adhesion, my 5 year old is able to work it if needed, for now, we don’t have to remember to move the little bars every time we open the door; just keep the bottom bar out and lift the door handle. Cons: if you need to have both bars out to prevent your toddler from using door (i.e. if toddler is able to lift the handle as well as pulling it down) then have to 1. Move at least one bar EVERY time you use a door (this includes remembering to put bar back in place when you’re done) 2. You have to be extra aware not to someone on the opposite side of the door. As I said, For now we are fine with just the bottom bar out so we don’t have to worry about the cons above. Also; not sure if there is a lever child lock that avoids those problems completely.
