> 3 dayIve been using the unscented Dr. Bronners soap for a very long time after a long time of searching for a soap that doesnt irritate my skin and really like it, though it dries my skin out quite a bit. I realized after getting the bottle that I accidentally ordered peppermint, despite searching only for unscented, and with the blues on the bottle almost being the same I didnt have a second thought. My only issue is that I cant exchange it now that I have it, and cannot use it. So Im out over $50 and cant afford to buy the correct kind. Major bummer.

Greater than one weekFor years I thought that all that writing on the label was a bit much. However, having tried the product, it is now in use throughout my home. It is a great hand cleaner (remember to dilute it with water). This is a pure soap and the company is very socially responsible. You will be surprised how well it works for most cleaning purposes in the kitchen, bathroom, and throughout the house. I use it as a refreshing body wash and sometimes as a refreshing shampoo. Ive only ever tried the peppermint.

> 3 dayI’ve been using this product for a few years. I use it in place of body wash. It provides a true squeaky clean feeling like nothing I’ve ever experienced prior to using it. I use it as hand soap, dish soap, all purpose cleaner and I’ve used it for laundry. The peppermint scent is refreshing. I recommend it!

> 3 dayI have been using this soap for 10 years and unless someone make a superior product I have no reason to change to another product. Here is an honest review: The problems I have with this soap are 1. It contains palm oil which, if not grown correctly is bad for the ecosystem. As I understand the manufacturer uses sustainable techniques but I cannot say one way or another. 2. The sodium hydroxide will make your stainless steel sink slightly dull. However, I found that adding a drop of dishwashing soap fixes the problem. Those are my two problems, otherwise, for cleaning and bathing this soap is invaluable. The reviews claiming that the soap is watered down are incorrect and probably posted by competitors. The gallon size jug generally lasts a year or so in our house. I distribute the soap in small pump containers at a 1 to 4 ratio (1 part soap, 4 parts water) for bathing and light cleaning. For the bathrooms I leave it at full strength. The peppermint aroma will irritate your eyes if you use too much but at least you are confident that it is strong enough for bathrooms. Given that I promised an honest review, I should mention, for those with sensitive skin the peppermint is too strong for bathing unless it is greatly watered down, probably a two table spoons in 12 oz of water or use a very small amount. Instead, my wife and I exclusively use the unscented or lavender for bathing. At any rate, this soap is not watered down and by the way, it does not contain pesticides-laden ingredients. It is effective and less harsh on the environment than similar products. For those with kids and/or pets, you can mix this soap with 100% peppermint or eucalyptus extract to make a safe but effective insecticide (1 tsp of oil extract, 1 tsp of soap and 8 oz of water). Sure, it is not as effective as raid but it does kill on contact within a minute or two and, unlike raid, it is not a neurotoxin. If you have never used this soap before, start with a small bottle and if your experience is not the same as my experience you have not lost too much money.

> 3 dayWe use diluted amounts of this product in our hand soap dispensers (foaming pumps work really well) in our house. If you dilute it to a champagne color, you will not suffer clogs and a little will last you a long time. I also use this for face cleanser, shampoo, and body wash. The peppermint flavor is a nice, refreshing feeling, but the first time you use it on your sensitive parts, you will notice it. After several times, youll be fine. I actually prefer the citrus flavor for my facial cleanser, but I have used both for everything. There are no harsh ingredients and it does the job. You cant go wrong with this stuff. Getting a gallon at a time is the way to go, too, if you have the storage space for it. Its the best deal for your buck.

> 3 dayIve been using this soap for over thirty years and it never disappoints. When I need that extra feeling of wanting a clean fresh smell or after a good workout Dr Bronners is my goto. During my shower I use a scrunchy and it latters with just a little drop and it goes a long way. The peppermint scent is refreshing you can definitely feel the freshness as you bathe because it gives you a tingling sensation which absolutely love. Try it you wont regret it

> 3 dayI made a bottle of all purpose cleaner out of Dr Bronners. 1tsp Dr. Bronners +3/4 cup of water. A spray bottle took 3 tsp D.B and 2.25cups H20. There are 768tsp in a gallon so you could make 256 bottles of cleaner out of a gallon.I bought my gallon for 43.50 which make it so each bottle of cleaner only costs me 17 cents. Even if you purchase it for 53$ each bottle of cleaner you make only costs you 20 cents. Ive cleaned up all day makeup, grease, soap scum, and dried on food. Im a new user to Dr. Bronners but with a little online research Ive been able to find dilutions and recipes for everything. I used this stuff as a body wash and as a face wash. After using it twice on my face in a day my skin felt dry but it never got flaky as if it was actually dry. I realized this is the feeling of clean. This stuff seems expensive but when you see how many different things you can do with it youll realize how much money youll save...
