his is the second bag from this company, Now mind you this bag is a great bag and works beyond expectations for keeping your gear dry. I leave this bag in the back of my work truck, so it is exposed to the elements daily. From heavy rain, sun and deep snow this bag will deliver. The only issue that I have had is the stitching around the handles on this bag, and I must wonder if it is because the bag is constantly outside and traveling through several airports. Your fears will be laid to rest when you contact customer service, as they stand by their product and will do what ever is necessary to make it right for the customer. The first bag was replaced by them, only had to pay S/H, the price of this doesn’t compare to the price of the bag. The customer rep asked several questions, not to place blame on me, but to help understand what to tell their manufacturing team in order to aid in solving the issues with their product. I highly recommend you buy this bag is you want a product that works and one of the best customer service teams I have ever had the pleasure to talk too.

Awesome Drybag! I cant wait to use it! I just received it yesterday and it appears to be very high quality and exactly what I was looking for! I have one of those long tube like drybags that you can carry like a back pack. It fits a lot of stuff but you cant get to anything unless it is right on top. This bag will allow me access to everything I need to keep dry without taking everything out only get wet. 3 zipper pockets (1 on inside and 2 outside) will allow me to keep small things even more easily accessible!

These feel great and seem high quality! Good straps and comfortable to carry. We have used them a few times for winter camping but havent capsized on a river trip since we got them so they havent really been put to the real test, but from all appearances they will be great! After a bit of use dont smell terribly like chemicals like some flexible rubberized products.

I love the bright yellow color and material. Plus, it arrived much earlier than promised! I purchased this bag (40l) to be our boat bag--grab and go or leave on the boat and not worry about the items getting wet. Our boat bag holds items that are always needed on the boat without having to pack, unpack, and repack each time. I like the outside pockets...just wished it had some organization inside, but I knew this before purchasing it. I use smaller bags/containers/baggies to help organize the variety of items.

I recently took the Duffelsak on a 4 day kayak camping trip. All of my supplies--tent, sleeping pad, sleeping bag, clothes, cooking gear, snacks, toiletries, spare shoes--were stored in the Duffelsak and secured with straps on back of a Diablo Amigo sit-on-top kayak. The bag worked flawlessly through numerous full submersions. All in all Id say the bag was fully submerged ~10 times and partially submerged ~12 times with zero leakage. Ive done the same trip before with Sealline bags and they leaked. I especially like the accessibility of the bag. Ive done the same kayak trip multiple times with 3-4 smaller (20L) Sealline bags and much prefer the horizontal access provided by the duffel. The duffel makes it super easy to access all of your gear at once rather than having to unload an entire smaller bag to get to the gear at the bottom. Plus the compression straps on the Duffelsak allow you to pack minimize the profile of the bag to take up less space. I cannot speak to durability, as Ive only taken the bag on one trip. I will update this review after extended use. The only improvements I would suggest are to remove the clear ID card slot. It didnt cause any problems but I feel like it is the weak point in the bag as far as possible leaks go. If you really need to put an ID card on it Id prefer to remove the clear built in slot and just tie/clip on a separate ID card pouch. Id also look into adding an air release valve so you can remove air trapped in the bag while compressing it. I make these recommendations with the provisio that these are simply suggestions and not actual problems with the bag. If youre looking for a waterproof gear bag for camping, hiking, traveling, etc. Id highly recommend Sak Gear. You cant beat the quality at this price point.

I’m very please with the quality construction of the bag. I have not had it in water yet. I have a 2,000 mile motorcycle trip planned and I purchased the bag to hold my camping gear. A test run shows me that it will hold all my camping gear (smaller, light weight equipment intended for motorcycle travel, hiking with backpack...). There is plenty of room to securely roll the top to keep water out. I have added reflective tape to all four sides for safety. I purchased yellow as a safety consideration. Each handle is stitched to the bag in two places. I was surprised that a D ring was only at one of those points. The 2 D rings are at opposite ends of the handles, so I can see that there’s a benefit to that when it comes time to attach it to the bike. I don’t know why they didn’t use four? Why not place a D ring at the end of each handle on both sides? I can’t see that it would add considerable cost. It would add convenience and options when it comes time to put it on the bike. It would also give a back up D ring in the event one should break. It seems to be made of quality materials with quality construction. I can’t wait to put it to use!

Love the durability of the bag. The only negative is the bag gets very easily marked up. The bungee cords used to strap to my motorcycle caused black marks all over the bag. I have not found a way to get these removed. Other than that, pleased with the purchase.

This is a big bag to carry all your stuff. We even plan to use this bag for kayak camping.

I havent had a chance to take the bag out on the water yet, but already I believe it will be my new go to wet bag for kayaking. The quality is evident, I love the shape, which is much more accesible than the typical tube. The carrying strap has great hardware and the double sided pockets (inside and out) look very useful.

This bag provides convenient, weather resistant protection for as much clothing/gear as one would ever want to carry in a shoulder/hand bag. Much easier to load and carry than the traditional cylindrical dry bag. And it does all this at a very reasonable price compared to what youd spend on similar bags from North Face, Patagonia or LL Bean. The trade-off is in the materials. I own one of those more expensive bags and it feels a full step more rugged and durable. However, since Im not planning on taking this bag on anywhere it is likely to get manhandled I do not have any concerns. It does the job I need it to at a fraction of the cost of the expedition gear. Very nice to have such a good option at this price point.
