Greater than one weekThis was very interesting read. The book starts on a world of magic. 4 beings from that world are pulled threw time and space to our world. 2 of them are changed from horses to the form of people, yet they still have the mentality of the horse. One is not so lucky and is struck and killed in traffic when he runs out in a panic. The other is luckier, the people who find her are sympathetic, and think she suffered a trauma, and take her home and dress her. She stays quite until she can start talking back and she quickly learns how to help and makes her self useful at a riding academy. She makes friends But needs to find her friend and rider. she makes her needs known to her friends and the drama takes off. Read it to find out more.

> 3 dayA glorious blend of fantasy, mystery, and romance. From a land where magic is commonplace to our own world ( where I believe magic to exist ) and back again, revealing that some things are always the same. If you love fantasy or stories about horses you cant go wrong with this one.

Greater than one weekThis is one of the best books Ive read in a long time. Doranna is a wonderful storyteller. It is a Light hearted, nostalgic, exciting and a trip into a magical realm where everything is posssible. She truly makes you undlerstand the character and her feelings both as a horse and as a woman. I highly recommend it and look forward to reading more in the Chengespell Saga.

> 3 dayThis book had me almost from page one. Ms Durgin has created and presented a world that is not only believable, but is also true to itself. I wanted to interact with the characters. Of course, I was through her mind! The plot had enough surprises to keep me thoroughly engaged with the story. In fact much of the time I did not want to put the book down. Also the bane of e-books, typos and proofreading errors, were barely noticed - a major plus! I plan on reading the rest of the books in the series and expect to be as well entertained. I highly recommend this book for its fantastical and plausible story.

> 3 dayAs far as I know, a good story with a very unique concept. A light, entertaining read but with the unusual , to me anyway, story-line. The author made it work along with enough action, adventure, even a hint of humor, romance and a Lottie magic. Again, very readable.

> 3 dayThis was a truly unique story, told from a different perspective. The lead character is a horse in one world, who is changed into a woman in modern day Ohio. Her senses, her expectations of the world, and her growth into an amazing and brave person, are narrated in a believable manner. The author paints a picture of a horse as a being with personality and value, and yet, does not diminish the idea of being human. The actual plot, which involves a courier and his horse escaping their world to protect a magic spell, enlisting the help of humans from our world to return and right the wrongs committed by the spell, is fast paced and well thought out. A unusual story, well executed.
