This thing has crazy power. I used this on a rug that was already vacuumed with my animal V7 and I collected tons more dust, dirt, debris, and hair. really was a surprise.

I have been using a Dyson V7 vacuum for years and have been quite happy with it. I have even replaced the battery a few times. But it was finally time for an upgrade, so I ordered this new V10 model. I could tell as soon as I took it out of the box that it has much more power than my V7. The battery lasts a lot longer as well. This vacuum is equally at home on carpet or hardwood floors. You can also use it as a handheld vacuum to clean your car or get into tight spaces. With my V7 I would get frustrated that the battery would sometimes die before I was finished cleaning, so I would have to wait for it to recharge so I could continue. But I have never had that problem with this V10 since the battery lasts so long. Dyson vacuums are expensive, but at least in the case of the V10 I think its worth the cost. I highly recommend this model based on my experience with it so far.

The power is so strong that it is hard to believe it is a cordless vacuum cleaner. I cleaned a carpet that looked clean with this product and it removed a scary amount of dust. The battery life is a little low in the strongest mode.

I love everything about this vacuum! It does suck when it dies in the middle of cleaning, but I’m able to do a whole house vacuum or a big project without any issues!! You get what you pay for and Dyson is amazing!

I bought a refurbished Dyson V6 over 8 years ago. That vacuum changed the way that I do my daily clean ups around the house. Having something so conveniently available to vacuum really made it a no-brainer to use multiple times a day for cleaning minor messes. While that 8 year old vacuum is still going strong, there were some flaws to the V6 that this newer Dyson V10 fixes and makes it an absolute pleasure to use as a daily vacuum. Thoughts on the V10: - It is easier to empty the debris bin than the V6. You just have to push a red handle down and it clears the filter along with rest of the debris. You no longer have to stick your hand in the container to clear the hair. - The motorhead can now attach directly to the vacuum for those tasks that dont need the extended tube. This is great for vacuuming stairs and upholstery/couch. - The improved suction power from the V6 is noticeable. I like that there are 3 speed/suction settings. - The pet hair attachment works great on stairs! I am thoroughly impressed with the improvements on this V10. If youre looking for an upgrade to an old vacuum or looking for your first cordless vacuum, the Dyson V10 is well worth the money.

I finally pulled the trigger on this sucker. Literally and figuratively. I’d been eyeballing it for about 9 months after using a friends. It is everything I hoped it would be. We have a dog that sheds like it’s his job and 3 kittens that are equally as hairy. I was a bit concerned that being cordless would mean sacrificing a bit of suction. Nope. It’s as sucky as they come, if not suckier. It gets all the hair and dirt! I had purchased another brand (corded) vacuum less than a year ago and had nothing but problems with it. I used it right before opening the Dyson (which I have named Mike Tyson the Dyson by the way), then used the Dyson right afterwards… it was AMAZING how much stuff the old vacuum missed that I didn’t even realize. Our house is mostly hardwoods with some low pile carpeting and it works equally well on both. Another concern I had was the 40 minute run time. Would it be enough time for a full vacuum of my (2000+sq/ft) house? It is. A big part of the reason for that is because it’s SO easy to pull this thing off it’s charger and spot vacuum, I do it far more frequently. No more animal hair tumble weeds that magically appear overnight. The coolest feature is how all of the pieces snap in effortlessly. You can make it long or short and put different attachments on either. I can finally reach my porch ceiling without a chair or ladder! Also, if you need to bring it somewhere away from your house, you can detach it and still bring the cord if you need to charge it without using the docking station. This is obviously not an inexpensive buy, but in my opinion, it’s worth the money. I was sick of buying mediocre ones every couple of years. This comes with a 2 year warranty and lifetime assistance. I kept my eye on it and once the price went down to $399, I bought it. I’ve managed to talk 2 other friends into buying one since I bought mine 8 weeks ago and they are both equally as happy. It’s kind of weird how much I talk about vacuuming now! If you’re on the fence on what to buy, don’t be..

I have owned a Dyson V8 for many years and had the opportunity to get an upgrade to the Dyson V10 and Im so glad that I did. The Dyson V10 is a very nice upgrade. The suction power is amazing and it works much better. It could be partially because my old unit is about 4 years old at this point, but it was still working very well but I notice the 30 percent increase in power that is advertised. The attachments between the V8 and V10 do not interchange, you must purchase new ones if you want one that do not come with (looking at you soft roller brush!). The soft roller brush is the only attachment I do feel I wish was included in the V10 kit, and will be looking to get. I havent found that I have had an issue picking anything up on my hardwood yet, but do feel it treats the surface better and over time feel the soft roller on the surface will keep from causing long term micro scratches to the hardwood flooring. One big issue I had with the V8 was emptying the dustbin. Dust would get stuck around the cyclone chamber and I would have to reach up around to pull it out or take the plastic housing off, making it where I had to take a lot of extra steps to take more pieces off and struggle to get it back together. With the V10 it launches the dust out, ejecting the dust and moving the entire housing out away from the cyclone chamber. It must have been an issue for many others getting the dust out around the chamber as this was majorly improved with the V10. There were a lot of nice design and quality of life improvements with the V10 that make it easily worth the cost upgrade over the V8. If you are debating which to get, go with the upgrade and you will not regret it! Dyson is the way to go, and if you can afford the name brand already go with the better one as it is built to last and the features will be well worth it especially with how long you will be using them.

The name should say it all, but as a previous Dyson owner, i do have some features on this unit Id like to point out. I also have an older cordless dyson, and love some of the new features First off. Love the 3 suction settings. Low, high, and pull your socks off lol. Very nice to be able to control. You can save battery life by going low on hardwood floors for example. Second. Charges super fast, and it does stop charging when full. Prevents battery damage from overcharging. Has battery indicators on both side of the battery. Third. Love the easy release for the filter. Also love that it us washable. This is typical for these dysons. Forth. Emptying the can. Love this. With the older version, it could be hard to get stick dust that was too far up. Youd end up taking the whole thing apart. Not anymore. Theres s rubber gasket attached on the inside, that pushes the dust out as you push the release. If stuff gets past, do it one or two more times, voila. Empty. Fift. They did make the mount easier to put on the wall. Sixth. Love the new brushes. You can hear them thumping on the ground, and they look awesome. That blue purple color. Love it One negative. I wish the wall base could hold all the attachments. It can only hold 2 attachments. Where do I put the rest lol. Now the price is hefty. Its the norm for anything dyson. My old one listed years before the battery started going. But i also have the animal upright big boy vacuum for over 5 years. Great
