Dyson Vacuum Motorhead (For V11)

Greater than one weekMy wife and I knew going in that Dyson products are overpriced. But with a supposed lifespan of around 7 to 10 years, I figured that we would at least have a reliable product for quite a while. Wrong! After moderate usage at most, the original motorhead failed after 29 months---just 5 months out of warranty. None of the online steps to bring it back to life have worked. Its toast. After investing several hundred dollars in the vacuum, we decided to spring for a new motorhead to the tune of around $130. Another reviewer has mentioned that the replacement is smaller than the original. But I didnt realize it was going to be this tiny, as shown in the comparison photo. No doubt this is to save money producing the part. But considering what Dyson charges for its products, it shouldnt be this small. If I had known that we were going to have this kind of trouble with a Dyson vacuum, I would have brought a less expensive brand to begin with (he said with the usual perfect 20-20 hindsight). In any case, we wont be buying any more Dyson products after this. The next time this vacuum becomes unusable, we will cut our losses and move on to something else.

> 3 dayFirst time I used it the wheel fell off on the carpet. A closer look found it likely had a bubble in the plastic. I am questioning if this is actually a real dyson replacement
