I was intimidated to use a heat press and had previously only used an iron to make t-shirts. I love this machine! It is very easy to use. I am glad I made the purchase. It is a sturdy made machine and I made my first large order, 35 shirts, and it was a breeze!

So i purchased this product last week, i just received it on Monday. I tried it out yesterday. My question is, is the temperature supposed to drop during the press? During my press of the shirt, the temperature kept dropping. I feel like that shouldnt be happening. I dont know if it was defected or if im doing something wrong. It didnt come with a manual besides how to turn on/off and for safety precautions. Also, should the bottom plate be popping up the way it is?

I bought this heat press a year ago and it has been going strong. It works really good opens and closes pretty easy and really simple to use. I gave it 4 stars because I know there are better ones on the market. Like the swing away or some that have automatic settings. But if youre just starting out this is a great one to try with.

First off this huge 50 lb press got to my door just two days after ordering! It took me awhile to find some shirts to sublimate on but when I did I set this up and start subbing in less than 10 minutes. It easy easy to use. Heat rose to 400 within a few minutes and seems to distributing evenly. I think I need to adjust my pressure but besides that I LOVE this press. It’s also really affordable compared to others and it comes with the sheet you want to lay on top of your sub print which I thought was awesome!

I bought this Heat Press almost a month ago and Ive used it quite a few times already. Its really good for the price of +-$170. So far Ive had no significant issues with it. The handle does need to be pulled up with some strength when opening the top after pressing. Thats the reason for my 4 stars. Aside from that this heat press is very good. It is my first heat press and Id recommend it to any beginner. It arrived quickly from the seller as well. It has a temp set button as well as a timer setting that makes a beeping sound once youve reached the desired time pressing. It came with a Teflon sheet which is alright, mine had a few black marks on the sheet when I received it but I dont think its worth returning since it doesnt rub off onto any of the materials I use it on.

This is my first heat press, and it is getting the job done. As others have mentioned, it makes a clicking sound consistently when it is turned on. This can get pretty annoying when you have multiple projects or have layers. Sometimes it will click more than others. Also, when it has reached the specified temperature, sometimes it will ding repeatedly until I partially close the top and release again. Other times, it will ding a couple of times before stopping. I never know which it is going to do though so I have to stand by it when it is almost at the temperature to stop the dinging. The closer I get to the edges, the cooler the heat plate gets. When I set the heat press to 305 degrees (Fahrenheit), and used my laser infrared thermometer, the center registered as 320 degrees. I know this is pretty typical for lower end heat presses, but if you are considering purchasing ANY lower end heat press, I highly recommend purchasing an infrared thermometer as well. I purchased this heat press so that I can start using HTV in my craft business. I havent had any disasters yet, but will upgrade if I decide to make this a large part of my business.

I bought this March 2017, to start making my own shirts as a I have a vinyl machine. I bought a swing away first and I hated it! There’s no room to see where the design goes on the shirt and the design can move. The clamshell is the way to go and 15x15 is plenty big enough. I’ve not had any problems!

I have owned this machine for almost two years and use it regularly for personal use. I also sell some of my items. Never have had any issues with it.
