Feather Double Edge Safety Razor Blades 100 Count

I was a little dissapointed with these. As they are to flexible and then that the blade can be pushed up by small follicles so I didnt get a close shave and had to apply more pressure than other blades I used.

Fairly new to the DE shaving scene, like many others I was tired of paying close to $20 for super cartridges only to find the shave to be passable and not exactly comfortable. Tried Merkur, Derby, Crystals, Red Personna, and a few others but then tried the Feathers. Unreal how much smoother they are on my face, i had to check to make sure i was actually cutting hair off. All the warnings? Its a razor blade folks. Bought a hundred and wont use any other blade from now on.

Excellent. They are a great shave and last with out the 5 dollar price tag and the one use that the rest of the desposables have.

Since abandoning the high street consumer nightmare of over-engineered and ridiculously expensive mens shaving products about 5 years ago (having wanted to escape it for a decade or more before then), I settled on Feather double edge blades in an easy going Edwin Jagger safety razor, having first tried out a few other blades. Feather were sharper and smoother than the others Id tried - but you have to treat them with respect and change them as soon as dull (maybe after 5-6 shaves max). Disposal is safe and easy in the cartridges they come in. Amazon tells me my last purchase of 100 Feather blades was in Aug 2014 and I have no reason to doubt them, why would Bezos lie about such a thing - its clearly not in his interest what with all the other things on his mind. That is 4.5 years ago, 1600+ days - ridiculous! $25 - 30 or so every 4-5 years for blades sounds good to me. I dont know what the per shave cost is (roughly 3 - 5 cents?) and I dont hesitate to replace a blade if I think it is becoming dull, but doing the maths it seems I only shave every 3 days on average. In all that time I maybe didnt shave for 6 weeks or so. If this info is useful to one young man, I have achieved my aim. Have at them. This is all my own work. Sam Age 48

I have a friend who gave me a sample of these and was *instantly* in love with them. When I started using a double edged safety razor a few years ago (to save costs on razors and such), I bought a trial pack of blades that I still have quite a few of left. I usually try to shave every 3 days, just to let some build up, and because I have a super sensitive face. I still use a Gillette Mach 3 to clean up, (because I dont do well with the double edge around the nostrils and under my chin) but will usually use a blade from any manufacturer for a couple of weeks. Most of the other blades that Ive used are very cumbersome, as if you dont get the *exact* angle, it makes shaving uncomfortable and very rough. When I first used a Feather blade, it was entirely the opposite. I had to slow down, just to make sure I didnt cut myself! The blade cuts very nicely and is so close that if I could get to those hard to reach places, Id *never* have to use a Gillette again! I do see why they are called Feather, because its a very light touch to get the job done. The only downside that Ive had so far with using these blades, is that they dont last for very many shaves. Thats still fine for me though, because the costs of these blades (in the qty of 100) still is better than paying a ridiculous sum of money for Mach 3 blades. Id highly recommend these blades to anyone who has a very sensitive face, and if you have tough facial hair that comes in, because this will take it right off!

Great razors and durable. Makes for a clean shave and in my experience can be used more than once due to their ruggedness.

These are pretty sharp so be careful. Used a lot of double edge razor blades and these have to be the best.
