Fluke T6-1000 PRO Electrical Tester
-
Product came defective .two of the hot rivets were not riveted during installation and manufacturing
> 3 dayThere is no other meters on the market that even come close to fluke .I wouldn’t trust any other brand as much I feel I can trust my fluke .I own multiple other brands .they don’t even come close to the fluke in quality .

> 3 dayI use this electrical tester mostly for home needs, to check and repair electrical devices. It came with detailed step-by-step instructions, accompanied by illustrations, which I found very helpful and followed. It works as expected, and I have had no issues so far. It would have been nice if it came with a storage case. Overall, Im satisfied with the quality and durability of this tester.

> 3 dayThis tool wasnt everything I hoped it would be. If you know that you need to use a ground when using the field sense, then not a bad tool. The advertising is misleading, making you think you can just put the fluke tester on a wire and it will read. Its also poorly designed in that the leads dont detach from the unit. I would prefer a tool that can read without any leads or ground wire. It would be easier all around.

> 3 dayIts Fluke and Im happy to say this is another example of their excellent products. Ive been trying to diagnose an intermittent issue with my tank-less water heater and a contact-less current reading is just what I needed. As far as I can tell it is very accurate as the elements should be pulling 30 amps each and thats what is reading. The fact that its not a one-trick pony is nice too. The upgraded version allows reading voltage and current at the same time but its not too difficult with this one to hit the button to switch between them. The well made leads round it out by allowing resistance/conductivity measurements as well. They wrap the wire with thick rubber so I expect them to hold up to a lot of use. The body itself is sturdy as well with nothing flimsy and a strong plastic over the display. If for some reason you cut them they are made to be able to be replaced so thats a plus. This is a good auto-ranging meter and Id recommend it to anyone.

Greater than one weekFantastic multimeter, my only small criticism is that when measuring small resistance it won’t give me less than 1ohm accurately for some reason, perhaps it’s not designed for that type of measurements - aside from that it is an excellent peice of tech for a reasonable price.

> 3 dayFirst of all, safety: Fieldsense wants to use your body as a ground. This is horrifying to me. And, when you try to use it, leads to inaccurate readings, unless youre very very sweaty. I taped over the fieldsense lug and use the ground probe.
