Perfect. Easy to replace old defunct sensors.

My Genie garage door opener has worked well for over 20 years. The recent issue/failure was the obstacle sensor, which was caused by the sun shining on the “receiver” sensor in the afternoon, the garage door would not close. The replacement unit solved the problem completely. Very easy to install. Still a happy Genie user

When my garage doors seemed to stop going down inexplicably I was very worried something major was wrong. Doing a quick google search led me to the culprit - sunlight! I then noticed that the door would work fine in the morning and evenings, but spotty during the afternoon. It became obvious my old sensors had gone bad. These guys were a directly replacement, if not an upgrade. Very happy with the results. Took me 30 minutes (conservatively) to replace the sensors on 2 doors. Anyone having similar issues with their doors emergency stopping for no reason should start here. Save you some $$ before calling out the garage door repair guy.
