> 3 dayIm old, I have arthritis, and until a couple of years ago I didnt know how to work an electric drill. But my garage door sensors (circa 1993) went out last week, and I do not have it in the budget for an entirely new garage door opener. I first ordered an off-brand that arrived without instructions or screws, including the terminal screws, so it was unusable. I was not impressed with that sellers response, so I decided to stop with the off-brands and buy Genie. In 20 minutes, Id snipped the wires for my old sensors and removed them, twisted together a black and red wire to attach to one terminal screw on the sending unit together with a white wire on the other terminal, attached the red and white wires on the receiving units separate terminal screws, and mounted both. Boom, my garage door is in business again and I didnt even break a nail.

> 3 dayShipping was quick. Item was plug and play. Only reason I gave it 4 on ease of install was because I couldnt release the lens assembly from the bracket. Customer service through chat was useless even with providing pictures. I would recommend they be shipped without lens attached to the bracket for ease of install.

> 3 dayAlthough the brackets were totally different from the old ones, these worked fine after re-working them to fit in the old space.

> 3 dayWith the old kit, the doors refused to close if the sun was out. Replacing them with these is as easy as it says (i re-used the existing wiring) and the most difficult thing was bending down to screw the new sensors into the same holes. I am very happy

> 3 dayWorked great for our Overhead Door garage system. Previous owners has broken the two sensors on one door and we finally replaced. Easy install and works perfectly with the electric opener (which we also use with the MyQ system).

Greater than one weekSimple to replace old safe-t beam, 5 minutes or less per side, even replacing the older square model. Aligned straight away and garage door working again.

> 3 dayFixed a nagging problem for me. I decided to rewire these new sensors. Worked like a champ and have spouse off my back (at least for now)

> 3 dayThis was so easy to change out. My old sensors failed and I have an old Genie garage door therefore I was worried this was not going to send the proper signal. I worried for nothing. The remove replace procedure was very easy. 4 wires (no polarity) 4 screws. I had a big smile on my face.
