Plug and play. Works great with SFP as well as SFP+ connections between Ubiquiti Unifi devices.

So far so good! I have used these on Lucent / Alcatel as well as on Cisco and they performed very well. I like that they come in colors so when I am done with my POC its very easy to trace my cables through the sea of black or blue. All in all extremely happy with this purchase and will be buying these from now on as needed for any installs.

Update: It turns out the original DAC I received was defective. The vendor reached out and resolved the issue quickly. The new cable performs as expected. 5 stars for a company that backs their product! ————————- Original review below: This 2 meter DAC cable presents “OEM” as the vendor. Legit 10GTek shows up as “10GTek”. I would be willing to look past this if it weren’t for the terrible network performance. This cable yields 60Mbps (out of the 10,000 rating) using iperf. I validated this result with Speedtest and Fast and got the same result. Swapping DAC cables with a legit 10GTek cable gives me the expected speeds 984 Mbps symmetrical to the Internet (AT&T GigaPower) and 9925 Mbps between switches using iperf. Frees up a network port on the UBNT switch. Connects the 2 switches. The other port has a SFP to standard data port. Connects switches to my Security gateway. Nice and clean looking.

This is my first optical cable used at home from what I can tell the build quality seems good. Plugged into my Ubiquiti and my QNAP NAS and it worked without any intervention.

This works perfectly to connect my 2 Ubiquiti (UniFi) switches through the SFP port.

These cables are great. I have bought a few of them now. I can confirm they work with Ubiquiti devices and palo alto devices. They come in fantasic colors and are soild. Cant recommned these enough.

So far so good. Using in my temporary setup at home after finally getting my hands on a Unifi UDM SE and a Unifi 24 POE Enterprise switch. Boot it up the first time with the DAC cable in and it picked up 10gbs no problem. Been running all day and so far super solid.

Im using this short DAC to connect a US-24 and USW-Aggregation switch together. That is, a 1gb SFP with a 10gb SFP+ port. The two switches were able to auto-negotiate the connection just fine and I did not have to manually go into the settings to force the link speed to 1gbps. I however wished this cable was 1ft or 0.3 meter.

Amazon delivered it perfectly. Cable is of high quality and i love the color, it is connecting my Netgear R9000 router to a Netgear XS505M 10 GB switch SFP+ to SFP+. All good!!!
