I have used DE for years and started when I raised goats. I needed something that would be friendly for animals but take care of insects. I no longer raise goats but I always use this all over my yard for insects because I have a dog and I don’t like pesticides. Their story is amazing and I will continue to buy Harris. Silicates dust so put a mask on and safety glasses to protect your lungs and eyes. Better to have gloves as it dessicated skin. It is food grade as some people ingest it, but ask your doctor first and if you can take it, always drink a lot of water: it dehydrates badly. Anyway, put just a bit and spread it to obtain a thin layer. I use it only at the entrance of the garage where we have too many coach roaches.

Great product! Use it in the garden and make my own supplements with a capsule filler and a little bit of citric acid. The 4lb bag at this price gives me plenty for both. The applicator/blower is garbage. Upside down does just a little bit more than nothing. Outlets on the bottom will blow 90% of it out in the first two puffs and leave you with a stopped up mess, and after just a few tries the sides of the bellow are starting to wrinkle and bind. I ended up using an 8oz squeeze bottle and thats worked out perfect for the garden application. It can be very messy working with such a large bag so recommended that you use it outside with good air flow.

Add just a little to the cat food. The worms are gone. Much more effective than de-wormers, and much cheaper.

BTW, thingy is a technical term. This stuff cleared the itty-bitty ants almost immediately: YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!!

We were experiencing a massive flea infestation and our home is tiled throughout. We tried flea collars and spray but all the spray did was make us cough. We decided to add DE in a flea killing triad of DE, traps and better collars and within 2 weeks the fleas were gone. The great thing about DE is it works against other pests as well and its not toxic.

I put this around the perimeter of my home inside and out! I haven’t seen any crawling bugs in a LONG TIME! I am getting ready to move to a new location and I’ll definitely be using this product to get rid of AND prevent any unwanted critters from entering my home.
