> 3 dayUpgraded our old Infant Optics to the pro version when one of the cameras went dead after a few years of use. Wow! The image on the pro is crystal clear, even in night mode. What an upgrade! The noise reduction has also been helpful with the kids white noise machine. Glad we upgraded!

> 3 dayThis camera will not stay connected to my monitor. I have another one that works perfectly but we use this one when traveling and different locations in the house. It won’t keep a connection. Very frustrating for the money.

> 3 dayGreat camera! Only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is beside the microphone setting to be able to talk to your child barely works. However, I don’t really use that feature anyways. Is a great camera, with great zoom and picture quality.

> 3 dayI did a lot of research when selecting a baby monitor. This was a great camera until the night vision started to die on us after only 2 years. My husband read some reviews and it seems to be a common issue that the night vision stops working. The green light that assists with night vision becomes really dim. We have only had this camera 2 years. We just had our 2nd baby and got a camera for their room and there is a noticeable difference between the new one and old camera when using them at night. We will no longer recommend this camera to others.

> 3 dayThe Infant Optics DXR-8 PRO Add-on camera is an excellent choice for parents looking for a reliable and high-quality baby monitor. The camera is easy to set up and provides clear and sharp video and audio quality. The night vision feature is also exceptional, allowing you to see your baby even in low light conditions. The camera also has a wide angle lens, which provides a larger viewing area, and the ability to pan, tilt and zoom to get the perfect view. The temperature sensor and alarm feature is also a nice touch, giving you peace of mind when it comes to your babys comfort. One of the best features of this camera is the ability to add additional cameras, making it easy to monitor multiple rooms or angles. The camera also comes with a rechargeable battery, which provides added convenience and eliminates the need to constantly replace batteries. Overall, the Infant Optics DXR-8 PRO Add-on camera is a great investment for any parent looking for a high-quality and reliable baby monitor. The features and flexibility that this camera offers, makes it a top choice for parents who want to keep an eye on their little ones. The only downside is it’s not compatible with the DXR-8, non pro.

Greater than one weekWould highly recommend this!!! We have used baby monitors for 12 years. This is our 3rd set. I could not find the other brand we had been using so purchased this camera with the monitor locally. The picture quality is AWESOME. So much better than the others we had. So I ordered 3 more monitors from Amazon for our other rooms. Looking at the monitor is the same quality as if I was in the room with the kids. Night vision is not in color, of course, but the picture quality is just as great. Battery life is great too. I am able to use the monitor overnight without the cord attached. And the cords are really long so they reach the outlet if you need to place the camera on a wall. I tried a different brand with really short cords before I got this one. You can have up to 4 cameras with the monitor. There is no split screen view but they do have a scan which can be set for varying times. Great set!!
