Many people can argue AMD this or AMD that, or Intel i9, but if youre wanting something to start off at the high-end level, I would highly recommend this CPU. Granted, you should get a good CPU cooler or a decent liquid cooler that will keep the CPU cold. Other than that, this offers great performance despite the cost.

Ich verstehe halt nicht warum ich einen kaputten CPU geschickt bekomme das ist halt einfach nur unnötig und zeitaufwendig

I undervolted the CPU -0.12 offset which lowered core package from 73c to 62c at 141W in Cinebench R23 for 22957 score (which is average for a 12700k). Watched videos from JayzTwoCents and The Tech Thing Guy on undervolting. One thing that you WILL run into if you plan on liquid cooling with any of the big brand AIOs is that they all say LGA 1700 compatible but none of them actually ship with the LGA 1700 bracket for some reason, you have to turn around and contact the company and theyll send you a free bracket in 2-6 weeks. Thats why I ended up getting the Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 (which turned out to be amazingly great, check the review on Gamers Nexus), because you can buy the free LGA 1700 bracket for $7 here on Amazon and skip all the hassle/delay of getting one sent for free afterwards.

I put together a gaming PC collecting parts over time as I had funds to purchase. Finally put it all together and it ran well for about 2 weeks and then I began having blue-screen crashes. Now it wont even complete a windows install on a clean drive without crashing. Tried two mother boards, 6 memory sticks, 3 NVMe drives, and two power supplies before being forced to realize the processor is causing my issue. I am now out of the quick return path grace period and must try to RMA through Amazon. If you buy one of these chips, or any part for that matter, use it right away in case it is a bad part.

Great cpu performs well but runs hotter. I have a good aio and it runs about 5 to 10 Celcius hotter than 9700k.

I need a new PC mainly to process photos. I was considering AMD Ryzen 7 5800X when I read the benchmark for Intels 12th generation CPUs are better than the 5800X running Adobe software. But it has a bad reputation for hogging power. The attached screen shot shows that power consumption slightly exceed the TDP of 125W during Lightroom batch export. But to my surprise, once the export is finished, power consumption is very low, even less than my AMD 4800H based laptop. Background processing uses the more efficient E-cores.
