I had about 10 coax cables that were dangling from my basement ceiling. None of them were labeled as to which room they belonged to. By connecting the toner to the coax wall receptacle and going one-by-one attaching the mini-speaker adapter to a cable eventually the speaker beeps when you hit the correct cable. So easy.

I needed to map the cable runs at our house so I could install a signal amp that is back powered from inside to outside. Six runs and thirty steps between junction box outside and the inside of house warranted buying this tool. I read the basic instructions and ten minutes later I had everything mapped out. Great tool. Great design. Couldnt be simpler.

this tester is a grate bye to locate and individualize all home runs as well as trouble shoot dead lines
