One of those inexpensive devices that every electronic toolbox must have. Very simple to use and to find the other end of a coax cable. In our case, we have several RG6 cables running from outside and throughout our 3 story home. Plug one end of this device into a cable - and start hunting down the other end. Mark both appropriately, move on to the next cable. Highly recommend if youre trying to figure out where all those cables run in the home you just bought. (grin)

Great item, Not sure who invented this item but they are a genius. Every home should have one of these. As I went into the dreaded attic I found no fewer than fifteen coax cables. It looked like a bowl of spaghetti up there, ugh. Anyway, I connected one end to the jack that I needed to find the other end to, and started the process of finding its match in the attic. First cable, nope, second cable nope, third cable nope, forth cable BINGO. What could have been an aweful job turned into a breeze. Thank you jonard. Now if you could make a tool to do my income taxes that easily I would be eternally greatful.

item was working very good used it on a daily basis i am a tech in the field, i dropped the speaker 1 good time on cement floor and now speaker is barely working only dropped it from 5.5 ft also speaker in my opinion made very poorly

Works as advertised - nice that it uses a AAA battery - makes organizing and identifying your hornets nest of cables very easy.

This work well for all types of cable with the proper adapters. So are I have used on RG6, RG8, RG58 and LMR 400. Not as good as a VNA but sure is a heck of lot cheaper and gives you immediate feedback on whether the cable and connectors are good or not do you dont waster your time. If you are handy you could probably make one of these for yourself but the packaging is beautiful.
