KA1214-BRK USA Fighting Knife, Steel

I purchesed this knife for my bug out bag. This knife comes with a really sharp edge. The grip is very nice to hold and it feels like it wont slip in your hand if it gets wet. The sheath is very good quality. If this knife is good enough for our military, it is good enough for me. For under $60 on Amazon this knife is a great deal. MSRP is over $100.00 I checked the KA-Bar web site.

As a guy that owns a lot of knives this is by far my favorite. it comes sharp and stays that way and is pretty easy to resharpen with a diamond sharpening stone.

Just got it in the mail today. fairly fast shipping. The product is moderate in price and USA made good quality. You can spend more money, yet I am unsure you can buy better. This is 1/2 the price of my Cold Steel Recon Tanto and the Ka-bar sheath is much better than my CS. This came pretty sharp from the factory and cuts paper fairly well. Not quite razor sharp, but it shall do the job. Under normal conditions it should last a lifetime. I would give this four and 1/2 stars as it is close to being 5 star. I would love to take this thing to the woods as a camping heavy duty tool and it is thick. I do not believe you can go wrong in buying this.

I totally love this knife!! Probably one of the best purchases I ever made. I like to carry it hiking and mountain biking... or just any other time when Im in the woods. Ill tell you what...If a bear ever tries to eat me...I will carve him into a sweat shirt with this thing!! That is how much confidence this knife gives me!! Ladies, if you like to spend time in the woods alone, this knife is a must have! Seriously...not to many bad guys are going to mess with a woman who is carrying a knife that is longer than most guys junk! Pretty intimidating to say the least!

Ka-Bar never disappoints me. This knife is top quality as either a self defense knife, utility knife, or camping knife. It is very sharp and strong and has a comfortable grip. The hard Sheryl is a must have and protects the knife from any outside damage. It removes from the sheesh with ease and looks badass!

Provider sent a conventional KA-BAR without serrated edge....didnt return it because is a great knife too! Gave oportunity to test my blacksmith skills and made a serrated edge with a file and a lot of patience. Great knife.....deficent provider...be careful!

This knife was exactly what I was hoping for. It was sharp right out of the box and cut a steak like butter on my last camping trip.

Served me well overseas. It has an excellent build, weight and balance and is 100% made in the USA. This will serve as a solid investment that can be passed on to your kids and grandkids.
