This knife is a beast

I was concerned after reading some negative reviews, before I received mine. I was very pleasantly surprised at how good it is! Its not perfect - not an artisan knife, a work of art; but a damn good, well designed and well made knife, of quality materials. The blade is straight. The edge grind is not entirely symmetrical, and not completely esthetically pleasing, but good. Mine arrived quite sharp. The pommel is steel, and pinned to the tang. The grip material is sticky enough. For a knife this size and this quality, the price cant be beat. I bought this one as a gift, and may buy another.

This came knife went above my expectations. I wanted a sound knife that would be good during camping, survival and home defense if need be. I dont see any reason this wont fully meet all expectation is have. It came to my door sooner than anticipated (despite being very eager to get it). Out of the box, it was razor sharp, nothing you would want a child to get their hands on. When you pick it up, you instantly feel the quality and have confidence in it over the long run. The sheath is very nice, has a minor safety mechanism so a young child would have difficulties getting it out. Once you play with it a couple times, you get a handle on how to quickly remove it from the sheath. The only complaint I would have, is the sheath is designed for a leg strap (which I love), but no form of straps or cordage to fasten it to your leg. While completely minor, Just want to give that heads up. Besides that, this thing is fantastic.

Let me just say that this knife is ridiculously sharp. Im a sushi chef for a living and having a sharp knife is very important! I tried to see how sharp it was by shaving my arm hairs off with it! I also cut my finger open to see how sharp the serated edge was!

Its a Kabar. Made in USA. Great knife, stands up to abuse very well and holds an edge nicely.

Awesome knife for just about anything!

I ran the blade across my arm and it shaved the hair off. It cuts like no knife Ive handled before. There is no effort needed. Its like cutting with a lazer. I love it.

Bought it for the Kraton G handle. Should last a lot longer than the leather.
