this is an amazing product i use it every time i solder. my only complaint is the spots to put miscellaneous parts are a little small.

This silicone mat is great for your soldering projects. It easily holds screws from disassembly. The covered containers on upper left had the hinges rip off. These hinges are just really thin silicone so it was too easily torn. All in all I am happy with it though. The price point is great for this sized mat.

Im not sure if mine was previously used, or just someone dropped it in the warehouse, but there was some dirt on part of it. Either way its not a big deal, nothing is damaged. Just odd that I was shipped a dirty product when I bought it new.

Perfect for for my desktop. I needed a place to solder my electronics and this came to the rescue with added sections for tools and parts. I laid my heat gun on it when using some heat shrink and it didnt even leave a mark.

I used this mat as a work mat, no soldering yet. I was working on a drone and was slightly concerned that this mat built up a decent amount of static as I shuffled it around my house. I did use an external grounding strap on my wrist, but the static was on the mat, dog hair and dust got sucked to it. Just beware that this mat is not grounded. Otherwise it is great, has lots of little cubbies and holders for parts and pieces, this made it easier for reassembly - all my parts and screws were in order and I didnt miss anything like I have in the past.
