Proved excellent as a soldering station mat. It will stain from the rosin in the solder but seems to take the heat without issue. Cant believe that I went without this for years.

I love this pad. Color contrast is nice, you can easily see parts against the blue. Did some soldering with no problems.

I thought it was going to be bigger but I went and looked they had the dimensions there for the world to see I just didn’t look I guess I saw the next day delivery and the great price and said give it to me so as they often always do they sold it to me. Either way it’s very useful and I’ll just get another bigger one to go along with it.

Great hobby mat

Bought to use as a watch repair mat but was concerned about the magnets. There are 5 magnets and they were very easy to remove and I dont think it will affect the performance of the mat in these locations. The magnets are stronger than the seller and others perceive and will magnetize objects easily so very glad they could be removed. I think this will make a great watch repair mat because of all the compartments to separate tools, supplies and parts.

I purchased the large S-180 and its been great. Ive already used for a few projects and having all the organization space and cubbies really helps me keep track of everything. I used the magnetic spots to hold my screwdriver bits and put all the screws in the small numbered slots in the main space so I didnt lose anything and knew what order I took the screws out in. I included my Nintendo Switch in the picture as a reference point to the actual size of the S-180 mat. It did come with a note warning me it would have a strong odor but mine didnt, I just let it rest on a table to flatten out for an hour after being rolled up for shipping and was using it the same day. I havent used it for soldering so I cant speak to its heat resistance but overall I am very happy with the product.

I use this thing all the time. A solid buy. In fact, I have 2 and am thanking about getting a larger one.
