> 3 dayI love this mat. Its got lots of little spaces for placing screws and components and can take the heat of the iron. At first I thought it was scorching and discoloring, but after wiping it down with isopropyl, I noticed it was just flux. It looked good as new afterward.

> 3 dayWorks well for my soldering station on my workbench. I don’t find much use for the indents to sort screws but they do hold items that would otherwise roll around.

> 3 dayThis handy mat protected my desk from a 400 degree soldering iron for hours. It made direct contact with the mat with no issues. It did not, however, withstand my using an exacto knife to cut stuff on it haha. So, just dont slice the thing to bits. It is silicone!

> 3 dayHeavy and thick enough to stay flat in place for soldering works and general electronics repairs. Tiny pockets arent that useful for my works but the larger pockets are more practical and much easier to place and remove parts.

> 3 dayPurchased the S-180. The order arrived in record time, so very fast shipping. It came nicely rolled up, and in a hermetically sealed plastic casing as depicted in the pictures. Mine came in a plain brown box and not a Kaisi labeled box as depicted by another reviewer. Probably a supply issue, or a way to save costs, and certainly not an issue. In fact, the box was quite durable. There were stickers on the outside, with the seller’s name and email address, to address any questions or concerns about the product. The sticker on the sealed plastic casing mentions off-gassing that will dissipate once mat is laid flat and allowed to sit for several hours. The smell wasn’t as bad as some reviewers described; my olfactory senses are quite keen. The mat flattened out nicely. There are more slots, holes for screws, screwdrivers, or soldering iron tips, than I ever care to have to use. There are two magnetized compartments which are apparently designed to keep screws from moving around, but not so strong they magnetize them. There is an embossed ruler at the bottom of the mat that stretches to 15 inches, and directly below that, an embossed metric scale which stretches to 38cm. Over all, this mat appears to be very well thought out. It will save the surface you are soldering on, as well as help protect the device you are working on. I am very pleased with this purchase, and even like the color.
