Some weather stripping is intended to be thin and very compressible in order to say fill a gap between a window and its casing yet still allow you to close the window. Other weather stripping is intended to be thick and also offer some physical damping for say an air conditioner or a door without critical clearances which closes hard. This material is a great example for use in the latter. This has the resilience of a slightly hard marshmallow. Note the sticky part is fiberglass reinforced, see photo. No odor. 11.65mm (0.459in) wide 12.25mm (0.482in) high So smaller than claimed but not by a lot. This will be perfect for under the AC when I install it in the window. 5 stars.

I used this around an interior basement door leading into my office, to make it more airtight (and bug-tight). We have those annoying gnats in the spring and summer that gather on garbage in the basement, and they end up migrating into my office. I wanted something to seal the door, to prevent any extra openings. This weather stripping worked great, along with a separate door sweep I installed on the bottom of the door. It wont be exposed to weather, so I cant comment on the longevity and/or deterioration, but for my use, its what I needed.

We have a door that has a few gaps in it This foam tape helped to seal that gap and block some of the air that was getting through. It was easy to apply. I just cleaned the surface I was applying it to and then peeled back the adhesive and stuck it to the area where it was needed. The adhesive has stayed on pretty well and has done a good job of weatherproofing the door.

Just a note: the lising photo seems to show two strips side by side but it is really one piece. Works fine.

I got this foam to hopefully help against the draft I had coming in my front door. This foam is super easy to use and install and did exactly what I needed it to. With simple measurements I was able to cut and place with weather stripping and was able to stop the heavy draft that was coming in my house. I cant even imagine how much much I will save during the summer and winter months with this new foam. Great product; I just wish I bought it sooner.

My front door is really drafty but this solved the problem. It just needed the weatherstripping to be replaced on the Latch side and one long piece solved the drafty issue. There is 3 Rolls so its more than enough to line the entire door frame at least twice but that wasnt necessary for this purpose. I will have to replace the weather stripping on the other door just because I have enough left to do so. And the drafty kitchen window definitely got fixed, too. This can be compressed enough that it didnt impede the lock on the window, I tested it before I attached it.

No complaints here. The foam is of good quality, and the adhesive is strong enough to stay put. That said, I was able to reposition at once before I mashed it down permanently, which was welcome after a minor screw up. Size depends on what kind you buy of course, but I really like the 1/8th inch thick option. Its almost the perfect size to fill the small gap between the door and the door frame, without jamming the door up. So you really cant even see it when its installed, but it does a decent job of preventing air leaks.

My moms back door seemed to have warped in some way from the rain and was exposing a large draft on the side of the door and at the bottom. I applied this strip easily by peeling back the adhesive strip and sticking the strip onto the sides of the door and at the bottom. This completely sealed the drafty leak she had, and it also is still able to open and close easily. I love that this came in a two pack so if I need to I can use this again.

I used this as a sealant for an exterior window which had some gaps and if I had ordered the right height, I imagine this would have been the perfect product. Even with my own personal mistake, these strips are plenty long and very easy to cut and work with. The adhesive is strong and while it could be removed with some light force, it shouldnt ever just peel away on its own over time.
