Greater than one weekI am not using this for window sealing, but rather to create a cushioned space for some artwork I will be transporting soon. This is thick and a perfect way to create a padded space on a wall and floor for my artwork to lean on while it is traveling. This item is a perfect solution for my needs.

18-12-2024I ordered this for my front door. Ever since I bought my home, it had no insulation or weather stripping around it. It used to slam and made a loud noise. Also, was having an issue with spiders and small insects coming inside. Someone told me I needed weather stripping so I found this. It has done the trick. One roll was plenty for the entire door frame. The adhesive is strong and sticks well to the frame. It comes in a pack of two. Its easy to install but you cant restick it if you mess up. I found that out quickly. If you dont stretch it slightly, your door will be difficult to close. But, if you stretch it too much it will come off. If you have to remove it after it has set it will peel the paint off of the door facing. Overall. great product.

> 3 daySticks good and seals great. Wonder where the bugs are getting in? Use either the sun or a flashlight to find the gaps that need fixing and then apply the sealer tape. Also saves money on heat and air conditioning bills. Three rolls is plenty to go around and at a fair price too.

> 3 daySticks down amazingly, better make sure youre putting it in the desired spot because its a bit difficult to peel it back up. Nice density of foam, awesome that it comes with 3 rolls in the pack. The backing is easy to peel off and this stuff works great for sealing up doors. Prior to using this, you could feel a draft from the door but thats completely gone now with this stuff in place. Very reasonably priced, and it looks like they offer quite a variety of sizes to suit your needs.

> 3 dayI have been using this foam tape for a while now, and overall, it has been performing excellently. The foam is of good quality, and it has enough deflection to block air intrusion without interfering with the doors operation. Ive been using it for my garage door, but it can be used for various purposes. The adhesive is impressive and grips well, but the surface needs to be clean for it to work correctly. I have found that a quick wipe with rubbing alcohol helps to remove any lingering issues that could affect the glues adhesion. However, there are two minor issues that I have encountered. Firstly, the backing tape can be challenging to get started when peeling it off. I have tried using my fingernails, but unfortunately, they are too short to be of much help. Secondly, the tape has a strong plastic smell that I believe is due to the adhesive. Thankfully, the smell dissipates once the tape has been applied, so its not a long-term issue. In conclusion, I would highly recommend this foam tape for anyone looking for an effective and affordable solution for blocking air intrusion. Its impressive adhesive and quality foam make it ideal for various purposes. However, be prepared for a bit of struggle when peeling off the backing tape, and expect a strong smell that will eventually disappear.

Greater than one weekThis was used to seal up a couple of windows in a remodeled, yet very old building. Perfect! The adhesive backing adhered well to the inside of the window and I am expecting a lower heating/air conditioning bill. Just be sure and measure so that you get the correct size; it comes in several and all will not work for every project.

> 3 dayNo complaints here. The foam is of good quality, and the adhesive is strong enough to stay put. That said, I was able to reposition at once before I mashed it down permanently, which was welcome after a minor screw up. Size depends on what kind you buy of course, but I really like the 1/8th inch thick option. Its almost the perfect size to fill the small gap between the door and the door frame, without jamming the door up. So you really cant even see it when its installed, but it does a decent job of preventing air leaks.
