I am very impressed with this solder. It flows beautifully and bonds great.

Theres not a whole lot I can say about solder. This is the good old 63/37 tin/lead stuff so dont eat it and be sure to wash your hands after handling. Unlike the lead-free stuff it results in nice clean shiny joints every time and the flux cleans off nicely with flux remover without leaving a sticky mess everywhere.

This is some really good solder and it is the perfect size for most of the projects that I work on. Will definitely purchase it again.

flows great and easy, hardens instantly as you would expect from eutectic solder. smokes like crazy i dont know if thats normal or not?

Have tried a lot of solder over the past 36 year career as a professional electronic technician. As a general standard solder - not rohs, odd formulas - this is one of the BEST setting and easiest flowing solder on the market. * Known as a eutectic solder - melts lower than lead or tin by themselves - unlike 60/40 - doesnt boil the flux off so fast. * The 44 ra flux is aggressive on the joint and gets rid of the oxidation caused by heating the joint. This allows you to get on and off the joint quicker.

Great for fixing weak solder joints, common with mandated lead-free solder. Contains lead!

good flow and fast melting flux covers the metal well before the oxidation starts because of a heat. Users are right about its quality.

Works as advertized and fast delivery. I suggest getting both spools the 60/40 and the 63/37 as each may flow differently depending on pad size and thermal loading. Still I have been a Kester fan since I was old enough to solder.
