Kester 24-6337-8800 50 Activated Rosin Cored Wire Solder Roll, 245 No-Clean, 63/37 Alloy, 0.031 Diameter

I regret learning to solder with other sub-par leaded solders. This size (20AWG) has worked well for me for small electronics pads (e.g. flight controllers) and associated higher-gauge wiring, as well as more substantial pads (e.g. electronic speed controllers) with wire gauges occasionally dipping to 8AWG without any issue. When using the right flux, and only when needed, you cant go wrong with this solder unless you need a lead-free variant.

Melt easy, solder cleanly.

I prefer Kester solder and have always achieved good results using Kester Solder. This size is my go to for general solder tasks and a one pound spool last a long time.

Have only used Kester solders since the mid seventies..it is the best IMO

Es la relación estaño plomo que tiene el punto de fusión más bajo, para soldar componentes delicados sin dañar los circuitos impresos o flexibles. Viene en un envase de cartón, no muy sólido, que es bueno conservar, para evitar el contacto con la piel, pues contiene plomo. El flux lo tiene internamente y fluye muy bien, es mi marca preferida, sin duda.

Not the good ol days, but does the job, and in a fine manor too.

Good Solder -

Melts nice and easily. Flows smoothly. I learned to solder 10 years ago, and this is some of the best solder Ive ever used - definitely worth the premium.
