Greater than one weekI found this very difficult as there was no users manual included. On line, yes PDF. Keyboard super sensitive, and no obvious way to delete unwanted characters. Getting the Reader connected brought me to the Kobu site and I could not find a way to get to my Bellingham Library site. I do not want to purchase, just download eBooks from our local library. A very frustrating afternoon of not any success.

> 3 dayFor Russian readers I would definitely advise it, Cyrillic letters are supported very well, though the language of system is not having Russian on its list. But as far as I can read Russian books clearly, that makes me more than happy. Besides, I am in love with its design, the reader is very thin, light, even though the size of the screen was not as I expected, however, it didnt disappoint me at all. Very fast working, easy in use. Everything delivered in a good condition (both reader and cable).

> 3 dayI bought this two years ago, when Covid hit and all the libraries closed down but we could still borrow books electronically, I like having something lightweight to carry on the bus or when traveling. Its also useful to borrow books electronically when Im out of things to read. But recently it started to act erratically (the print on the screen would dissolve, or it would suddenly jump to a completely different part of the book with no apparent reason). Then, when I tried to recharge the battery, nothing happened. I plugged it into the charger for more than a day and it wouldnt charge! I found out that yes, the battery can be replaced but it needs more sophisticated electronics skills than I possess. Im glad that I was able to use it for the time I had it, but I think it should have lasted more than two years! Or at least they should make the battery replaceable., or provide a replacement service. I would not buy one of these again. I dont know if the competition is any better in this respect, however.

> 3 dayI just unboxed my kobo aura and upon opening it, the left part of the page is frozen with a picture of the kobo with a plug. I tried to set it up via computer and still that page was frozen. After 2 minutes of setting it up, the lower half part of the page turned into black and was frozen. I tried turning it off and on and it is still the same. I am a fan of Kobo and I was excited to purchase Aura to replace my Kobo Glo. I am so disappointed with the product and this experience.

> 3 dayThis e-reader is in my opinion the best on the market. The size is perfect, screen amazing and battery life is awesome. The backlight on this does not cause any eye-strain and is so easy to adjust. There is no glare (like on a tablet or phone) so reading in the daytime outside is not an issue. I an a non-conformist reader and love how Kobo doesnt regulate what is put on your device. If you can download it onto your laptop- you can load it on this reader.

> 3 dayPretty awesome little ebook reader. I have a Sony one that Ive used for over a decade now but sadly the case was falling apart and it had to be replaced, I could not find a replacement case. The size is great its really easy to hold in your hand. The built in backlight is amazing. Controlling the light can be a little annoying, it basically pops down a slider to adjust the brightness, but interacting the slider is a little unruly. Be careful to buy the correct case, I bought one for an older version and it blocked the power button on the back. The official case was $40 which I think is a little on the expensive side but it does fit perfectly and wakes/sleeps the device when opening and closing which is really nice.

> 3 dayThey will not ship it in a orderly time because they want you to purchase a Kindle so they can further lock you into staying on their platform, Ive noticed this for years. The Kobo readers always show ship in 3-4 weeks or theyre unavailable. Either order it from Rakuten or Walmart. Kobo doesnt restrict you to just using PDFs and MOBI files, you can actually use the following Books: EPUB, EPUB3, PDF, and MOBI, and PDF. It supports CBZ and CBR if you read comics. They also allow for expansion storage, which no Kindle does.
