I decided to keep it.

I bought this 6 diameter extension so I could add a coupler and make my AC unit be further from the window exhaust. Combined with the coupler (purchased separately) it worked perfect. Quality of tube construction is acceptable, its not super high quality but it looks durable enough to last a few seasons. Just make sure you buy the right turn (either clockwise or counter-clockwise). I found that both of my floor AC units we both counter-clockwise, so Id guess most of them are? Dunno, check yours first.

I bought a GE portable AC and was excited to have an AC. I didnt think the hose that it came with would be too short! So I propped the AC on a table so I could use it (first picture). Immediately I turned to Amazon for a solution and saw this hose. Quality feels better than the hose the AC came with, was easy to screw in, and the length is perfect for my high windows (Second picture) Highly recommend this hose.

The instructions on amazon helped me to make the correct fit choice for my portable A/C.

The exhaust tube on my air conditioner fell all apart, so I was happy to find this replacement. Just be sure you get the right size and orientation.

Please people make sure to read and pick the correct size for your unit, Overall the product I received was study, and played around with it a bit because it made some great noise and did not tear, I am easily entertained, and is the size mentioned in the title 5.9. Installed with no issues to my portable LG ac unit.

This product is advertised to be a 80 inch hose.... The hose i received today is a 76 inch hose fully extended we measured the hose as soon as it arrived and took pictures for proof. Good quality but we did purchase this for mainly the length and every inch counts, not cool when you have to wait longer for shipping during these critical virus days

Not insulated causing heat to remain in the room.

Easily reached the taller window the short hose that came with my delonghi portable ac could not reach.
