So I was sent a faulty monitor at first, it began blinking out after a month. I contacted KYY and they were so kind, a woman named Daisy helped me and sent me a replacement. I couldnt be happier with it so far. The monitor itself works excellently, it starts up as soon as you plug it in without any additional task, and I even compared it to an asus monitor first and am much happier with KYY. If this review is still here that means that the replacement monitor continued to work without any problems. I am satisfied with both the product and customer service.

I love it! Everything is perfect, But it doesn’t work on portrait mode standing alone, I had to purchase a standing because the buttons are at the bottom and are pressed continuously. I bought another brand and it was the same, so I guess it’s just a design standard (mistake) or something like that. Otherwise its amazing!!!

I just needed something portable with good picture quality to do my design work away from home. Im not a gamer, but this works perfect for what I need. I had another portable monitor for a couple years and it gave me problems from day one, but so far this one is just up and running right away and working great.

In terms of design, construction and portability I have to say that the device feels well built from corner to corner, as the case is built in an aluminum unibody (apparently). I have no doubt that this device could withstand moderate drops or impacts. Its design is quite suitable, so that it doesnt take up a lot of space when carrying it. And speaking of carrying, it weighs just under 2 pounds, which collectively checks all the boxes for practicality. Brightness has been quite adequate for me, since I have my studio in a fairly bright room and so far I have not had the need to increase the brightness above 70%. The image quality is FullHD at 60Hz which is not remarkable, but not bad either. However, I have to say that I had my doubts about image lag, since I had seen some reviews of other similar products and people were continually complaining about this aspect, which had me very concerned about. After having run several tests with my PS4 and computers, I can say that the aspect of lag is practically unnoticeable to me. In conclusion, this seems to me to be a very solid product, taking into account its price and the options available in that range. -- En cuanto a diseño, construcción y portabilidad tengo que decir que el dispositivo se siente bien construido por de esquina a esquina, ya que la carcasa está construida en un solo cuerpo de aluminio (aparentemente). No tengo duda de que este dispositivo podría soportar caídas o impactos moderados, además de que su diseño es bastante adecuado para que no ocupe mucho espacio al cargarlo. Y hablando de cargarlo, su peso de poco menos de 2 libras, lo cual resulta en conjunto que coteja todas las casillas necesarias en cuanto a practicidad. Brillo ha sido mas que suficiente para mí, ya que tengo mi estudio en un cuarto bastante iluminado y hasta el momento no he tenido la necesidad de aumentar el brillo por encima del 70%. La calidad de imagen es FullHD a 60Hz lo cual no es destacable, pero tampoco malo. Sin embargo, debo decir que tenía mis dudas en cuanto a retraso de la imagen con respecto a las entradas, ya que había visto algunas revisiones de otros productos y las personas se quejaban continuamente de este aspecto, cosa que me había preocupado mucho. Después de haber realizado varias pruebas, puedo decir que el aspecto del retraso es prácticamente imperceptible para mí. En conclusión, este me parece un producto muy sólido, tomando en cuenta su precio y las opciones disponibles en ese rango.

Ive had this screen for a couple months now and just noticed it has a high pitched squeal. I doubt it will stop me from continuing use of the screen but it is certainly noticeable and annoying to sensitive ears. The screen itself is nice and seems to have held up past the return date. I am hoping to get a lot more use out of it.

Full disclosure this is my second monitor from KYY as my first one broke. However, KYY was very generous in helping me resolve my issue and replace the damaged monitor. The monitor visuals are fantastic, and it is an extremely handy option to have as I primarily work remote and need a second monitor for when I am hot-desking around the company sites. Very useful, great picture, very convenient. Extremely useful for co-op video game nights as the monitor can be powered completely by an Xbox or similar, meaning a great small footprint in a couch gaming night. Very impressed by the KYY team in their customer service and product.

During the pandemic, I started working from home everyday and my office was eventually given up by my employer so my entire dept. is fully WFH now. I enjoyed working outside but could only do it for so long since I generally need a 2nd screen as I work with a lot of spreadsheets with many columns doing financial analysis. When I discovered these USB powered monitors I gave it a shot and its made me able to work outside whenever I want. Overall I love this monitor and would recommend it. The price is good, it works right out of the box with ease, it comes with all the necessary adapters, and the case work great. I work mainly with spreadsheets and #s so a super sharp screen isnt necessary so I cant comment how well this does for gaming or video but for financial work, I find it more than adequate. Just 1 criticism: the screen isnt super bright so on a bright sunny day you could have issues. Its not unusable by any means but not quite as bright as what youd get from an iPad or premium laptop. Im sure theres other monitors that can provide superior brightness.

I had been eyeing this model for a while, and found it greatly discounted on Prime Day (I subbed to Prime to just to get this deal). The packaging was very nice and protective. Also included were 3 cables, a power brick (similar in size to what youd have for a cellphone), the folding carry case/stand, and even a screen protector. You have to install the screen protector yourself, but it was nice to have it included. The monitor itself is very slim and easily fits into my laptop case. I dont even need to carry the power brick that came with it, because the screen powers on via my PCs USB-C port. Very convenient! The screen is as vibrant as my newer Dell laptops screen (Inspiron). I ran a few dead or stuck pixel tests found on YouTube and it passed with no problems. The controls include a multifunction rocker and button switch which makes it easy to make screen adjustments, such as brightness. The on-board speakers are decent, but not as good as those in my 17 laptop. If you have a very compact laptop, the speakers in the KYY may actually be better. The included headphone jack is appreciated, although most laptops still have such a jack. If you have a newer Samsung phone this will be important to know. Im not a big gamer, but I tries just a little FPS gaming to check the response rate and to see if there was any ghosting. It looked very good. My main use is for productivity. Just having another screen to open up a web browser or office document does wonders for getting work done. You cant connect a full-size HDMI connector, Thats the only downside, but thats understandable due to the frames thinness. Just use the included HDM-to mini-HDMI cable. I will update this review if needed in the future, and I hope that I wont need to use the 12 month warranty. So far, this has been a great purchase for my needs. UPDATED October 7, 2021 After several months of usage and frustration due to one major flaw, I decided to return and provide an update to my initial review. I bought this unit to take with me on the road, which means that Im setting it up and packing it in my computer case quite often. I think thats a normal use-case for something called a Portable Monitor. I find that the screen is fairly dim, but thats not the source of my frustration, because turning up the brightness usually makes it useable. The problem is that every time you remove power (like each time youre packing up), the monitor loses all of its settings. This means you have to tweak the settings (like the brightness) each and every time you set it up. A monitor that is marketed as Portable should retain all of its settings upon removal from the power source. Disappointing!
