> 3 dayI originally purchased this for my daughter because her course work requires her to follow a series of steps within a separate application. I know from experience that having to switch between the application and the instructions for complicated/lengthy processes is a real pain -- especially when you have a short amount of time to complete the task. This works great for her because of the smaller footprint. I have looked at this kind of device in the past and it was too expensive vs. the cost of an additional monitor. After setting this up for my daughter, I bought two more for myself. I couldnt pass up the deal they were offering. What I like the most is device is the smaller footprint vs. having two additional monitors: or a 32 screen like I have now. The image quality is great. I did not use this for playing a game on, but there is a model with a higher refresh rate. I have these set next to my laptop in portrait mode for having multiple documents/applications on the screen without having to keep messing with arranging the application windows. The connectivity options are great, and the sound quality is pretty good for watching movies. The only caveat I can think of for having multiple devices is that your laptop/pc should have enough hdmi and usb ports that you are not using (unless you order a really long usb-c to usb-a cable for the power adapter). My laptop only has 1 usb-c port, so I had to buy hdmi adapters to fit the video ports my laptop has.

> 3 dayVery impressed with the build quality and stand of this portable monitor. The wife and I both work remote and use this with MacBook Pros via the USB-C cable. True plug and play, powers up instantly. Both HDMI, USB-A to C, and USB-C to C are included. Just understand that using the HDMI cable will require that you also provide the monitor with a power source (e.g. included wall adapter, USB-Cable, etc.). The refresh rate is smooth at 60Hz and 1080p at 15.6 screen looks great. This is a great buy and we own 2 of them. Strong recommend here!

> 3 dayI am greatly impressed by KYYs commitment to customer service. My experience with the original monitors power-up issue occurred just after the 1 year warranty had expired, so I had not contacted KYY directly about a replacement. Upon seeing my review they reached out, and once it was clear that the monitor was having problems receiving power (NOT a cable issue), they offered to send me a new monitor! It came so quickly that I was not back yet from a vacation, so I was only able today to plug in the new monitor and it was a seamless plug and play. I love my HP Spectre laptop, but it is a more compact size, and when I work in my outside office in the summer I really need the extra screen real estate that the KYY monitor provides. Since the HP Spectre has thunder ports (Type C - full function ports) I am able to use that quickest and easiest method to both power and send signal to the KYY external monitor. I have attached pictures showing the KYY Type C full function port with connector (provided by KYY) and a picture of that cable plugged into my computer. As soon as the connection was complete the KYY logo came up and then immediately my main computer screen was mirrored. My final picture shows both simultaneously with the KYY Monitor as a second screen. Based on the customer service follow-up I would definitely recommend this monitor, and the company that makes it. ------------------------------------- First Review: This was my first (and perhaps only!) portable monitor Ive ever purchased and I was pleased by the plug-and-play set up and picture quality. After a few months however the HDMI connector into the monitor, which was a common USB socket, became loose and it was difficult to keep the connection. Any slight motion that moved the cord and the connection was lost. But later that year I bought a new computer with a thunder-port and this summer when I needed the external monitor I plugged it in that way and everything worked great! Unfortunately the next day when I plugged my computer in the exact same way the monitor was not showing the signal, and instead gave me a power saving error message before it shut down. After extensive troubleshooting and referencing the manual and user questions on Amazon I concluded that it was a power issue - the monitor was not getting power through the thunderport. I tried various methods, from using the separate power cable plugged into my computer, to plugging into an outlet directly. When nothing worked, I used the tech support email listed in the manual (and here on Amazon) [email protected], and send a description of my problem, asking for any assistance they could offer on a solution. Over two weeks later and I havent received any response. Not even a were busy and will get back to you later automatic email. So. Anybody want a nice looking doorstop in the original packaging? selling it cheap.

> 3 dayI bought this for my wife to use when she goes to her WeWork office. Setup is super easy and it comes with everything needed to connect it. As long as your laptop has a thunderbolt connector, you do NOT need to use the included AC adapter. Picture, size, and screen quality are all great for work related tasks. The included cover and light weight make transporting it easy...she can just drop it in her laptop bag along with her other stuff to go from home to office.

> 3 dayI bought this because it was affordable and had good reviews. Is the screen just as good as your laptops? Of course not. Does it get the job done for reading and multitasking? Of course. I had some issues where the connection would be lost if I moved the cable, but I havent tried it with a different cable. Overall an excellent choice if you are on a budget and just need a second screen when youre out of the house.

> 3 dayAwesome companion for the road. It’s actually 14.5” inches fits in most backpacks, I recommend buying a padded case for it unless you have a super padded laptop bag. Great options for connectivity. Great resolution as week, not a gaming monitor to be cleared. I am in Tech and this is a great monitor for the road warrior.

> 3 dayIn terms of design, construction and portability I have to say that the device feels well built from corner to corner, as the case is built in an aluminum unibody (apparently). I have no doubt that this device could withstand moderate drops or impacts. Its design is quite suitable, so that it doesnt take up a lot of space when carrying it. And speaking of carrying, it weighs just under 2 pounds, which collectively checks all the boxes for practicality. Brightness has been quite adequate for me, since I have my studio in a fairly bright room and so far I have not had the need to increase the brightness above 70%. The image quality is FullHD at 60Hz which is not remarkable, but not bad either. However, I have to say that I had my doubts about image lag, since I had seen some reviews of other similar products and people were continually complaining about this aspect, which had me very concerned about. After having run several tests with my PS4 and computers, I can say that the aspect of lag is practically unnoticeable to me. In conclusion, this seems to me to be a very solid product, taking into account its price and the options available in that range.

> 3 dayI bought this hoping it would be a convenient second screen for when I fly & have to work on the go or around the facility, but its not super portable compared to a tablet. Its good if you have a decent size workspace to set up, but the almost 16 display makes it tough to use anywhere besides a desk. The aspect ratio is also a little off when working in MS Office apps like Excel & PowerPoint. Picture & resolution are comparable to a standard business computer. Speakers are very quiet. Overall, it works as a decent second screen and I dont regret buying it.

> 3 dayI have a HP Envy x360 Laptop and a 2nd screen would improve my workspace at home significantly, my wife told me to order something like this for my Christmas Gift. LOVE IT. Ordered it on Wednesday, it arrived Wednesday evening. Thursday - took it out of the box, very well packed. Screen, HDMI cable, USB-C to USB-C cable, USB-A to USB-C cable and USB-A Wall outlet power supply. My laptop has USB-A, USB-C and HDMI connections. Stood the Screen on the folding stand which is magnetic and easily supports the screen. Plugged the Screen to the laptop using the USB-C to USB-C connector ( its about 3 long ) and the screen woke up in just a few seconds. 1st impression - Really nice looking display but looks like a low res. Brought up the Display Settings on the laptop, the 2nd display was set to 150% text size, switched it to 100% - Wow! Fabulously clear view on the new screen. The new screen now sits on the right hand side of my laptop work area. When I move my mouse over to the right of the laptop screen, it smoothly rolls into the 2nd screen, the two screens now look almost identical in resolution, clarity and color. I love this screen. Easy setup, beautiful resolution, bright and crisp display. The new screen has a 2nd USB-C connection on the right hand side. On the left side are two controls. Lower is for the onboard menu that allows changes things like Brightness, Volume ( yes, the screen has a pair of speakers built in) I have both my laptop and the KYY screen set to 1920 x 1080 and matching brightness. When the laptop is shutdown, the KYY screen shows loss of input and a few moments later, the screen powers down, which is great as its getting its power from the USB-C port on the laptop. Waking the laptop up restarts the KYY screen very quickly. There is a power button on the left side. Long hold and the screen turns off. My laptop screen also goes off for a second or two then correctly returns to view. Pressing the KYY screen power button wakes up the screen very quickly. The stand easily folds to provide a complete two sided cover for the screen so that it easily and safely can be stowed in my laptop carry case. Very very pleased.

> 3 dayIve had this screen for a couple months now and just noticed it has a high pitched squeal. I doubt it will stop me from continuing use of the screen but it is certainly noticeable and annoying to sensitive ears. The screen itself is nice and seems to have held up past the return date. I am hoping to get a lot more use out of it.
