This is a great way to keep your sketch on your canvas or masonite board! Just sketch it on, then paint it with clear gesso. Wait 24 hours and you can scumble to your hearts content!

I will not buy this item again. The lid was NOT closed at all and leaked all over the plastic and the box. What kind of manufacturer sells products that need to be sealed send them out unsealed.

Good value in this size at this price. This covers very well with two coats on raw linen. If I want more texture I can add Gesso to meet the surface I am trying to make. Drys pretty fast too.

I love GESSO. Its my favorite cover-up for things I want to push to the background. HOWEVER, this is CLEAR, so its more like a GLUE to me, but I love the clear. Pretty spendy glue, but you dont end up with sticky pages. Price will probably keep me from using it REGULARLY, but Id have to think twice about buying again, just due to price. I had not been able to find it local, so splurged. THE PRODUCT is GREAT.

Perfect and dries well and clear. Great to mix with paints too. Nice larger size that is less expensive than my local art shop. Couldnt do my work without gesso.

Great stuff! Always gesso your canvas! Dont trust the triple-primed canvas claims on the label. Be sure! Gesso the canvas yourself! Your painting is worth the extra effort!
