I was able to buy adapters to connect my chew proof lights in my breeding room. There’s lights are absolutely perfect!

OK so I got the light in hopes of helping my birds I think it does but I find that I like sitting next to the birdcages and somehow the light makes me feel a little better too even the dogs seem to like it so there might be something to this. It’s been a few weeks now and I think the birds have gotten used to it and I actually think they like it too.

Parrot loves it

I have a grey and we have had some dark days in Texas so I got a light, it is a light and I can see my bird but I havent noticed any change in my bird.

Bird loves the light & it doesnt get hot. Would give 5 stars except the power adapter that came with the light is very poor quality & caused the light to flicker on/off when plugged into a timer that had switched to off. However, we had a spare compatible adapter we replaced it with & it works great.

I really like the design made to prevent chewing. I have been using this light 3 days a week for my parrots and really see a difference especially in the one who likes to chew her tail feathers. She is chewing less. They all seem a bit happier and not so squawky. Give it a try. Worth every penny.

I wish Id known about the importance of this kind of light before. My parakeets are in a big cage right by my balcony door and they get a lot of indirect natural light. I really like the dimming feature. It turns from dim to bright at the scheduled time and does the reverse at dusk. Programming the time was a tiny bit awkward for me at first, with multiple button presses to get to the right setting section (hour or minute) but all good because I now because I got the hang of it. Was not able to install at the top of the cage due to my cage design so installed outside the cage toward the bottom and it works fine.

When I first attached to the top of the cage and it came on, my cockatoo wasnt sure about it. Within short time were differences in him and his behavior. He now loves it and will sit and preen under it.

My CAG is much more active since we got her new light. She does somersaults under it. Maybe shes trying to shed some light on her bum? All I know is that she seems to be very happy with it!
