easy set up great product

So far, it exceeds our expections. It has only been one day. The protection on the cord is perfect. Lily Bird chews up her ladders and swings. She doesnt get very much sunshine. Lily Bird is 23 years old and been in the semi dark. Now she is adjusting on havingbright light! Safety comes first!. The Light is sturdy and constructed very well. We have the light plugged into a surge cord for now. A timer is on the list.

Exactly as pictured... the protected cord is VERY well done and ensures safety for the bird. My African Grey seems to be getting better healthier and her feathers are filling in after just a few weeks of use.

I live in a highrise with a covered balcony that only gets shade, so this has been a welcome addition to the happiness and health of my 4 parakeets. I have a large cage on wheels that I drag out onto the balcony for fresh air around 10 am when the air is warm enough, plug their light in for the day(which is attached at the top of the cage) then back inside at around 8 pm, unplug the light to get ready for them to sleep. So the whole timer thing does not work in my situation. I wish the cord was one sturdy piece, instead of the chew proof, sturdy metal cord, then the flimsy adapter. I keep those attached together when unplugging each night in hopes of not ruining the adapter or light. Other than the cord/timer thing, Im very happy with this product. Edit: 4 months later, I had a small problem with my light, and contacted the company directly. Mark replied to me right away on a Sunday(!) and immediately took care of the problem. Very professional and polite. I would definetly buy from this company again. Excellent customer service.

I plugged this light into a timer with a in line remote dimmer and it works great I can make it it really dim or really bright or turn it on or off with the remote.

This is an awesome bird light. Will be back for more.
