    Greater than one week

My 2 1/2 year old cant take these off at all. They sit nicely in outlet. You kind of even have to use your nails just to get them out. Which isnt a big deal for moms! The only downside for me is the things that go inside break kind of easily if you arent careful where you put them when you use outlet when they arent in outlet. Either I step on one by accident. I would just make sure a little one doesnt get a hold of them when not being used. But they have never broke inside outlet when taking them out which is a very good thing! They give a ton in one package so I can just grab another if they break. I would probably order these again if I ever run out. Had them for a year or so and so far still have a few left.

Ill keep this brief, and for reference: The home where we use this product was built in 2014. These inexpensive outlet covers are nondescript, sturdy, easy (for an adult) to insert and remove, and have—on more than one occasion—kept our thrill-seeking toddler from electrocuting himself. Any time our family can leverage an effective, low cost item to avoid a (literal) hair-raising experience… that’s a win/win! Feel free to leave me a comment or question, I’m happy to add anything else you’d like to know about the product. Thanks for taking the time to read my review, hopefully this information was useful!

We had these installed in all of our outlets because we have a very inquisitive one year old granddaughter. We wanted to keep her safe and not risk her getting shocked or worse. There were plenty of outlet plugs in the package; I believe 36 total. They fit the outlets pretty well. Unfortunately, my one year old granddaughter figured out how to pull them out after watching us pull them out a few times. I have replaced all of these outlet plugs within her reach. I still have them in the locations she cant get to such as behind furniture and high wall outlets. Also, I did misplace a few of them when I went to vacuum and that worried me. I didnt worry about a choking hazard as they are pretty large. I just worried about us misplacing or forgetting to replace the plugs and then her coming over and getting hurt. I just wont risk her safety so dont really recommend these. I pride myself on being honest and providing as much detail and information as I can based on my experience with the product. Remember, this is only my opinion and others may have different findings and opinions.

I didnt price compare before ordering these from Amazon, so I am not sure if you get the best/good price here. The product itself is good. You get 36 outlet covers. They slip in well, not too snug, not too loose. It only has two prongs. I am not sure if there are other products that cover a 3rd prong. As far as being low-profile and unnoticeability, this scores not well compared to softer more diffused looking outlet cover products. So, if you are looking for something less noticeable to say someone visiting your house, look around a bit more. If you just want something to keep your kid out of touching power outlets, this is a fine product.

We got a bunch of these when my guy was little. They were great, until he learned how to pull them out, and then they became a choking hazard. Theyre well made, they dont necessarily break easily, but the little prongs can break off if theyre stepped on. We were in an older apartment, so the inner part of the outlet stuck out a bit, making it easy for my then 18 month old to pull them out and put them in his mouth. He can also open all the doors with child locks, though, so maybe childproofing is just more difficult with him. Hes now two and doesnt try to put anything in the outlets, but when his little sister gets a bit bigger, I think Ill try those self closing cover plates instead.

Outlet Plugs, 36 Count good value! well I have an issue with bugs (wasps) building nests in the ground hold of the 15r on my out door outlets. lol well they are a good safe hole!! so this was my solution!! so now for the bad... yea once they are installed they are kinda hard to remove unless you use a putty knife for better leverage. one solution is to make sure you use a standard 15p in the outlet first to re bend the factory socket.. I could see these getting stuck in and having to remove them in cold weather... and the pins breaking off... or dust getting trapped and conducting with moisture... but they do work well keeping the wasps from nesting!! I wish they made them for all sockets!! like dryer and range. including twist lock!!

These were super inexpensive but are holding up nicely. We originally bought them because we have two puppies that like to scratch and lick the outlets. We do however, have a baby we will need these for when she gets older. They arent the easiest to get back out, but they arent too bad. When I have an issue I just use a prong from the plug of the item Im plugging in, to pop it out. They are also clear so you can hardly tell they are there.

Its that time: time for my 2 year old to have her own room with her own bed. But, with her own bedroom comes the concept of leaving her alone in a room over night and hoping she is still breathing in the morning. Morbid, i know. But thats the fear of a mom..... that you will forget something and she week tien it into a weapon against herself. That is why i bought these outlet covers. Not only ate they difficult to pull out of the wall, but they arent bulbous or draw attention to themselves. As far as she knows, they dont even exist.

I got these to baby proof my outlets and they seem to be working fine. The kids will still try to pull them out but their hands arent strong enough yet. I tried and almost pulled out a nail. I think the kids are getting stronger and will eventually take them out. Hopefully by then they will know that electricity can kill and wont stick anything in the outlet. Day 26: Babies have seen me take these out and wait until I leave and disconnect my charger. I think I have to move my charger. Babies are adapting and overcoming all obstacles.
