We live and Alaska and noticed cold air was leaking into our home through the outlets on outside walls. These worked perfectly to stop that and were the right price. Easy to insert into and outlet and just as easy to remove.

Bought 2 packs through amazon with prime shipping and the package came in 2 days. Put them in all our outlets lower than counter height and two packs worked out just right for our 2 story home. Regarding, the ease of removing mentioned in some of the other comments, you probably want them to be hard to take off since that is part of the purpose of this item. At any rate they dont seem all that hard to take out for an adult and you can just use something slender to pry it out if its stuck in the outlet. Worked perfect and keeps our little babies fingers out of the outlets. I also put these in open surge protector outlets. Although they dont fit perfect you can overlap adjacent inserts and they still stay in the open outlet.

My son is 8 months and is at the stage where he enjoys pulling on cords and climbing on stuff. So he hasn’t tried to pull these out but I like that he can’t accidently put his finger in any outlets on the power strip of the wall. They lay pretty flush and even I had to take a little time to remove one. I also purchased the self-closing outlet covers for high traffic areas. So far I like the combo.

Helpful and simple. The kid cant stick things like fingers and utensils into the socket, your stress goes down. These arent the fancy protectors that do anything else but prevent them from accessing the 110 volts of danger lurking every few feet in your home. But thats all I really needed. Plus, they were a great price compared to what most stores are asking for. Arrived quickly and I was able to cover my entire house with just a couple packages. Only thing of note would be that when sockets were really close together, such as with a wall mounted surge protector, the protectors were a bit too wide to place them side by side. Not really the fault of the protectors though. A quick workaround was layering them on top of each other. For example, in a row of three, put the right and left one first, then the middle. You get the idea. Worked just fine. Yay safety!

So I thought that maybe I would teach my 17 month old to respect the plug, that she could plug plugs into it but nothing else. She seems fascinated by putting this in there that she saw plugged in before (you know figuring out how to do things yourself). Well I havent really had to baby proof much as our furniture is pretty soft or round and we dont keep any sharp items or chemicals (eco friendly house) in little hands reach. Well, wouldnt you know, the plugs became less satisfying and of course little kids decide they want to test out what can go in there, if they can stick their finger in their - or even the wrong ends of some plugs, and even things that have been in their mouths, and of course testing the No theory by their parents. So, needless to say we have to get these plugs. I had considered giving this 4 stars because I do find them a little difficult at times to take out myself, but I decided against that and went for 5 because on the other hand I really like that they are difficult to take out because it means my little one will not be able to pry them out. They are not fancy, and why should they be? They are also fairly clear (a little foggy looking) so you dont even really notice they are there. That way child still may want to put things in but will be unsuccessful and in our experience just move on. This box comes with 36 plugs (enough for many many outlets). They do hurt if you step on them though so watch out. Also, can be a chocking hazard if your little one starts to put it in their mouth. I would buy again and strongly recommend this.

These outlet plugs are clear but not super clear since it has a frosted/matte look to it. Price is great and just bought a 2nd pack to plug the rest of the outlets. My little one is almost 1 and although shes SUPER curious, has not tried to pull out the plug. Its EASY to install, and has good resistance when trying to take it out. A few seem to come off a little easier, but it seems to be on the outlets that are used more often.

I didnt need quite that many but I didnt see smaller packs. They install easily. Not sure if little ones can get them out. I have a 2 1/2 yr old and she never messes with them so I cant confirm that.

I babysit my niece once a week. She suddenly had a affinity for one of my outlets that had a design outlet cover on it. I quickly decided that I needed to get outlet plugs. Fortunately/Unfortunately, I have 16 outlets near the floor in the two rooms I keep my niece wrangled in. The Mommys Helper Outlet Plugs 36 Pack was the perfect size and solution for this problem. The Mommys Helper Outlet Plugs 36 Pack is a great quantity and were affordable. The outlet plugs are clear, which is great because they dont draw a lot of attention. They are easy to put in and hard to take out. Obviously, you want them hard to remove for babies/small children and they are definitely successful in that nature. They have a side that is flat that is suppose to help adults remove them. Ive had two adults remove them with no issue. Personally, I find them difficult to remove, but it beats the alternative. Overall, the Mommys Helper Outlet Plugs 36 Pack does its job perfectly. I would definitely recommend these to mommys, daddys, aunties, uncles, grandparents, and anyone else who is trying to keep little fingers and small toys out of outlets.

These are 36 to a pack, so I should have paid more attention to the description. Do not sit flush with the outlets and so can be pulled off without any effort. Im sure my 10 month old will be able to take them off easily. Also being translucent/almost transparent they also are interesting things to explore for my son. I was getting these to fill in for the ones that were missing. The older ones in my home sit flush and have a solid color that makes them less apparent targets. I need something flat to take those off. Its not worth the shipping back and so Im going to just get others.
