Greater than one weekSo far, so good! These work as intended and are difficult to remove. The only thing that would alter my opinion on these plugs would be how long they take to dry rot. Our homes previous owners had small children as well and had left the plugs in the outlets. When we moved in we went to remove both the plug and the outlet covers and we discovered that the child safe outlet plugs had dry rotted in the socket and couldnt be removed, when you tried the other flat piece would come off leaving the two smaller pieces stuck in the outlet. We ended up replacing every single outlet that they had left those plugs in, the plastic had rotted so much that when you tried to pull the plastic out it just crumbled. I have no idea how many years they had left them in the sockets, but it was a drag having to replace all those outlets. Heres hoping these dont do something similar.

> 3 day36 plastic plugs for a couple of dollars. Hard to complain about that. Besides protecting kids and pets, these are useful for covering up outlets to minimize drafts and prevent fires. Pros: ++ Nice tight fit. * Probably difficult to remove from typical outlets * ++ Clear, not too noticeable. + Lots of plugs. Cons: !! Easy to remove from my style outlets (See my photo). ! Clear, difficult to see on the ground. Small enough for a pet or child to put in their mouth. = Lots of extras left over. Have to store the extras in a secure location. The Short Story: These are cheap and plentiful. I dont remember sticking my finger into an outlet, but maybe your kid or pet will.

> 3 dayI have a few brands of these plug protectors, and this brand is the best. The covers are more snug to the wall and have a tighter fit than others I have, so they are hard for a child to get out of the wall. The Safety 1st ones I have are so so easy to remove. My mom lives with me and has some issues with her hands, so its a bit harder for her to get them out but she can get them out without painstaking effort. I more wanted to point that out for anyone with someone in the house with hand strength concerns. The price is great, the plastic is sturdy, I love the fit, and the dont stand out too much in the sockets (my Safety 1st ones are more starkly white). Highly recommend!

> 3 dayIll keep this brief, and for reference: The home where we use this product was built in 2014. These inexpensive outlet covers are nondescript, sturdy, easy (for an adult) to insert and remove, and have—on more than one occasion—kept our thrill-seeking toddler from electrocuting himself. Any time our family can leverage an effective, low cost item to avoid a (literal) hair-raising experience… that’s a win/win! Feel free to leave me a comment or question, I’m happy to add anything else you’d like to know about the product. Thanks for taking the time to read my review, hopefully this information was useful!

> 3 dayThese do their job well. Theyre easy to plug in and we havent had any that are so loose that they fall out easily. That being said, they also arent so tight that its nearly impossible to pry them out. Thats nice for us since we have some outlets we use often enough that we need to get to them daily, but not so often that theres always something plugged in.

Greater than one weekThese get 5 stars all around except I didn’t rate for “easy to remove” because they are NOT easy to remove (relative to little fingers), which is obviously the point. These are very sturdy and latch into our outlets with no issue. They don’t feel loose at all and they’re very low-profile, so you can’t even tell they’re there. Definitely going to purchase another package. I held off on purchasing multiple because I’ve run into some very cheaply made plug covers and didn’t want to waste the money in case I just ended up returning them but I’ll DEFINITELY be buying another pack.

> 3 dayI bought these to help insulate, and they help. Obviously they are difficult to get off because that is their intended purpose and theyd be a choking hazard if they werent, but it can be a bit of a hassle trying to quickly get things plugged in even for a determined adult! Also, they are sort of easy to misplace being translucent. Good thing they are cheap and plentiful! If I were reviewing this for a household with children, my thoughts might be different, but for my purpose they are great!

> 3 dayThese were super inexpensive but are holding up nicely. We originally bought them because we have two puppies that like to scratch and lick the outlets. We do however, have a baby we will need these for when she gets older. They arent the easiest to get back out, but they arent too bad. When I have an issue I just use a prong from the plug of the item Im plugging in, to pop it out. They are also clear so you can hardly tell they are there.

Greater than one weekDecent price and quantity; they work as intended. They are not too flashy, thus they dont draw the kids to fiddle with them. Additionally, they are very strongly secured when in use, this may make them harder to connect to the outlet but this drawback is preferable to the alternative.
