> 24 hourIm using these to cool a EK-420CE rad. At 200rpms theyre whisper quiet, and at full 2000rpms theyre loud, but thats expected at full tilt. Still quieter than anything Ive ran at 2K rpms. I did have 1 fan die on the 1st day of use, so I guess well see how Noctuas customer service department works? I have Noctuas in other builds and Ive never had issues but these things happen I guess. Well in any case, being down a fan these still cool off my system. Its cooling a 9900k @5.2Ghz, and Im seeing temps around 85c.

> 24 hourNoctua in black, perfect. I added red Chromax vibration pads and have this as exhaust in my PC. It move almost as much air as the 200mm intake in the Phanteks case and I set a speed curve so it never goes over 60% and my system still stays super quiet.

> 24 hourI believe the majority of reviews complaining about them being loud are over exaggerating, far to sensitive to even the slightest amount of fan noise coming from their pc, or dont know how to set a proper fan curve so they dont run at full blast 24/7. I bought 6 of these for my airflow case and are all running around the same speeds on a custom fan curve to keep my pc as cool as possible and only going slightly higher under load and it doesnt bother me at all sitting on my desk next to me. Yes they can get loud up to 2000rpm but should not be the case since they cool so well unless you have a bad case with with bad airflow.

> 24 hourI didnt care much for retail versions due to their color. I went bought some of these fans and used a fan controller to lower the RPM to near silent operation. Same quality as the retail but with more airflow and better color.

> 24 hourI have bought a ton of fans through out the years. This one is well built but and quiet but I have bought cheaper fans that push the same amount of air. I am hoping with the quality and higher price it will last longer. I would recommend this product.

> 24 hourI use two of these fans on my custom water-cooling loop radiator. At 700-800 RPM they are barely audible and I can cool my OC 6600k and 980Ti to about 9 degrees over ambient temp. They will go down to about 250RPM before stalling but really dont move any air at that speed.
