Noctua NF-A4x10 5V, Premium Quiet Fan, 3-Pin, 5V Version (40x10mm, Brown)

I bought exactly 2 of these to replace the fans that come with the Amcrest DVR. The fans in the Amcrest DVR were WAY too loud and I found recommendations on different forums to try these Noctua fans out. They did the trick! My DVR is way quieter and still getting plenty of airflow to keep the DVR cool.

I tried 2 different noctua fans for my Prusa printer and they didn’t work. If you’re like me and trying to upgrade don’t waste your time and money like me. Just get the generic ones that actually work for prusa

Whisper quiet. After splicing original connector it worked well. Let’s see how long it lasts.

I normally would not write a review about a case fan but this fan is amazing. The quality is the best I have seen in a small fan. Most small fans are of course made in China but this is made in Austria and while it may be ugly (brown) I dont care.

The fan is quieter than a typical cheap fan you can find online. However, it doesnt seem to be as quiet as I would expect for a fan from Noctua especially at this price point. However, this being a 5V fan, it does work quite nicely off USB power (adapter required).

Quiet fan. Not silent but not really noticeable. Plenty of cable but since I was using it in a small case it took a little to keep the wire out of the fan blades. Was worth the money compared to the loud fan it was replacing.

What else is there to say. It is a Noctua fan so it works perfectly and is basically silent.

Used this for a custom application cooling an audio converter that needed cooling but did not come equipped with fan. Added this and the device is now cool and the noise level is acceptable. Would be quieter with a larger fan spinning slower but no room for that. So this one gets high ratings for quiet for size and cfm, and durability rating that is 10X the cheapies. You get what you pay for with this one. Did two devices with two of these fans.

Perfect replacement fan for an old Dreamcast (requires 3D printed adapter). Wires are really long and I was impressed with the packaging and hardware/adapters that were included even though I didn’t need them in my case.
