> 24 hourThese are easily the best 80mm fans you can buy. I bought a couple of them to cool a 750Ti which I removed the stock fans and fan shroud. They are literally silent. They are impossible to hear if they are turned down using the motherboard. I even replaced my standard light bulbs in my room with LED ones because my computer was so silent I could hear them humming and that was starting to drive me crazy... but Im pretty OCD about things like this.

> 24 hourCan you get past the ugly brown and tan color? Good. Because these fans are whisper quiet and provide a great amount of airflow. I added these to my Rosewill LSV-4412 Hot swap case because the fans included with that case were sub-par. However, these fans brought my case temps down ~5C and they dont add any noticeable noise to my server case. Highly recommend Noctua to anyone who wants professional fans that work great...despite the color

Inner Surface Microstructures
With the tips of the fan blades ploughing through the boundary layer created by the Inner Surface Microstructures, flow separation from the suction side of the blades is significantly suppressed, which results in reduced blade passing noise and improved airflow and pressure efficiency.
