> 3 dayI bought a Dell 3880 and its a great little system... EXCEPT THE CPU FAN IS TOO NOISY. If youre in a quiet environment then you will almost certainly notice the noise.

Greater than one weekI had a weird case that I needed to get these for to replace some noisy stock fans, the extra kit you get with this fan is amazing. You get a y splitter, an extension cable, and a low voltage (silent mode) adapter. And on top of that it is a Noctua fan and the hype surrounding these fans is real.

Inner Surface Microstructures
With the tips of the fan blades ploughing through the boundary layer created by the Inner Surface Microstructures, flow separation from the suction side of the blades is significantly suppressed, which results in reduced blade passing noise and improved airflow and pressure efficiency.
