> 3 dayI would upgrade the Easy to install rating from a two star to 4 star if they included one or two spare vibration silicone mounting pegs that can start to brake if you pull too hard. Its hard to fully snap fans on which a bear when mounting them to a case.

> 3 dayNoctua, I love you. You made a Sandy Bridge Xeon run like its on ice, even with the stock heat sink.

> 3 dayI pulled a little bit of a hack and installed this in my projector to replace its crazy loud fan. Im not certain that this fan is keeping it cool enough, but wow, its less than half the noise!

> 3 dayI am using other 120mm Noctura fans, and they are of good quality and run quietly forever. Quiet is the name of the game and Noctura does not disappoint. I purchased this 80mm fan based on past and present experience. I added it to my homebrew desktop computer specifically to cool a NVME Samsung 980 solid state C-drive (also purchased from Amazon). The ultra quiet Noctura fan knocked 20 degrees Celsius off the NVME. The fan comes with mounting gear, but I used plastic ties to position it for maximum cooling. This was installed at least 15 months ago, and all is still good. My rig only uses Noctura. Yes, highly recommend.

> 3 dayIt hasnt died or started squeaking, chirping or making any unusual noise. It runs relatively quiet for the expected amount of airflow. It does have onboard RPM sensors. Made a little bit of electrical interference noise running PWM, but works fine in DC. Chocolate Brown and Beige doesnt exactly match the black PCB and interior of my case, but may look right at home in your 80s performance build with a 5.5 Floppy. It does the job.
