Noctua NF-A8 ULN, Ultra Quiet Silent Fan, 3-Pin (80mm, Brown)

I replaced my 15 year old case fan with this fan. The old fan from the beginning was irritating to try to use the phone when the computer was running. I usually shut the computer off when using the phone. This fan is very quiet. I have two computers and I know my new one will have Noctua fans when I start hearing the case fans.

I bought Two of these for my new build. I purchased these ULN fans when i should have bought PWM. My mistake! I had them installed and both were working fine, however, within two weeks, one began to show signs of failure. Two days later, it failed. I returned it and ordered two of the PWM fans instead.

This thing is as quiet as a fan that is off. And, it also moves air exactly as well as a fan that is off.

I have had the fan installed 6 months. It has worked flawlessly. I purchased it to reduce the noise from my PC. It helped greatly.

This is the best fan you can buy. I have one of these and 3 120mm Noctuas, and they are well made, come with many useful accessories (adapter cables, silencer cables, extension cables, extra grommets) and are nearly silent when properly controlled by software or using the silencer cable (which reduced the fans RPM). Well worth the extra money, especially for a living room system that is powered on 24x7 and needs reliability and low noise.

I cant believe how quiet - now instead of hearing the fans (3+) I hear my clock running.
