Noctua NF-A9x14 HS-PWM chromax.Black.swap, Premium Quiet Slim Fan, 4-Pin (92x14mm, Black)

I was unable to find thin fans like this one from other vendors, but this still exceeds my expectations. Noctua seems to always make great products that are quiet and effective.

Working with a 3080 FE in an NR 200 build, originally had 2 regular-sized fans for my GPU but eventually found out my mistake. Threw two of these Noctua slim fans under my GPU and peak temps went down by about 8-9 degrees, in some cases 10.

At first, I was skeptical about buying these for my GPU. But after around a month of use, I can say these are worth modding to your graphics card. These are so so so much more quieter than the original fans on graphics card. Im currently running then at 60%-70% fan speed at load and they arent loud. I can hear the air purifier down the hall better than the gpu now!

If you plan on using this in a SSF case and having it on your desktop, this isnt it. Starting at around 1200 RPM this thing starts to whine like crazy. Best Ive found is to set it at around 1000 RPM and leave it. I have it currently mounted up as exhaust in a NCASE M1. Still a great little fan but I will be using it for a different application.

What is there to say. It’s quiet and powerful.

I replaced the ugly orange and red fan that came in a Thermalright heat sink with this. This is thinner at 14 mm and more powerful and quiet too. A great buy for a small form factor system.

Bought 2 of these as exhausts for my SFX case. Had to go into the bios and cap it to 30-35% RPM because it got loud and whiny at the default setting of 1500 RPM. I wouldnt recommend anything above 1200 RPM.

I buy Nocuta fans because theyre efficient and quiet. These are even called Quiet fans, but they sound like a helicopter spinning up, Im so confused. I used the anti-vibration pads they come with and still it sounds like a plane taking off. I set the fan curve to 10% and I can still very much hear them. My computer was completely silent before. I dunno if these are just defective, but its two separate fans that I bought, would be a big coincidence if they were both defective.

I received the fans in a box without padding but the actual fan box was sturdy enough to not incur any damages.
