> 3 dayThe black edition just looks so much better and still works like you would expect a Noctua product to work

> 3 dayThis cooler is the best you can buy. Designed to a high level and is really easy to fit. I was worried it would be fiddly but far from it. Maybe was expecting a bit more cooling compared to my old arctic freezer esports but not a massive difference to be honest.

> 3 daythere isnt really much I can say on my review that already hasnt been said for years about this CPU cooler. its huge, it cools very well, and its under $100 (at time of purchase) my only real complaint is that the serial numbers on top is an eyesore, but it was nothing my 9 year old, some rubbing alcohol and a microfiber cloth/cotton swab couldnt get rid of.

> 3 dayIt has dropped my temperatures considerably (on average about 10C) and has given a lot more performance to my PC as the CPU is able to turbo longer in some tasks. For specifics, for my Ryzen AMD 1800x idle temperatures are commonly in the mid 30sC and intensive CPU benchmarks would see around 70-75C.

> 3 dayCame with very straightforward instructions, thermal paste, two fans with the option to only install one, and quality offset heatsink fan design for better RAM clearance. Getting the bracket down for AM4 is very simple, and I love the appearance of the chromax.Black fans combined with white heatsink covers. A somewhat cost-inefficient upgrade for the sole purpose of aesthetics, but looks great in my white PC case.

> 3 dayCritical success steps: 1) Measure your case and build thoroughly to make sure this will fit your machine. 2) Check the compatibility chart on the manufacturers website.

> 3 dayMy Rig, Win10 Pro, 64GB DDR4, intel i9 9900k, RTX 2080. My PC was overheating and crashing or switching off on some games. It took me a month or so to learn it was my CPU overheating (The old IBUYPOWER single radiator two fan CPU cooler) was failing. I was idling at 45 degrees, some games spiking to 80 but a few other games hitting 95+ degrees before the blue screen shut down.

> 3 dayThis cooler delivers incredible cooling and is so quiet you cannot hear it. My CPU idles at around 34C.

> 3 dayAbsolute beast of a fan. Make sure your RAM is no taller than 38m. Fits well with my pair of Corsair Vengeance 32gb DDR5.
