Noctua NH-D15 chromax.Black, Dual-Tower CPU Cooler (140mm, Black)

I used to use EVGAs closed loop dual 140mm liquid cooling. My Intel core I9 9900k would hover around 66 degrees.

The instructions made it clear on how to mount the cooler. It was a quick process maybe 5 minutes. Cant even hear it over the other fans.

Recently replaced my motherboard, CPU, and RAM for a long overdue upgrade, so I wanted to explore non-AIO CPU coolers and have been wanting to give the Noctua a try since my last air-cooler was in early 2000s. My last 4 or 5 coolers have all been AIO or custom loop (open and closed), and systems Ive built for others have all been AIO cooled.

Un super ventirad, très performant et silencieux, mon 8700k ne dépasse pas 60°C en stress test linX avec, en idle il est inaudible. Très joli en noir aussi :) Linstallation du rad est facile et bien expliquée, par contre pour fixer les ventilos il faut utiliser des petites tiges métalliques qui sont difficiles à fixer et le manuel nexplique pas précisément comment faire donc cest assez galère et une perte de temps. Pensez à bien vérifier la compatibilité de votre carte-mère et de votre RAM avant dacheter ce modèle, il existe le NH-D15S qui est une déclinaison du NH-D15 compatible avec plus de matériel.

I love the design of this cooler the most the black goes so well with a lot of builds and has a old school muscle car look to it. The installation took some time to do as my case was a lot smaller than I thought it was a perfect fit. Temps went down 10°C under load and boot times feel a lot faster than I anticipated. Make sure to check on JayzTwoCents on Fan Curve software that works with every fan in your PC. Definitely helped with temps as well. DEFINITELY a must buy if you wanna have AIO Temps but with a Air Cooler.Also pairing this with Kryonaut thermal paste would help with temps as well went down another 5°C compared to the Nocuta thermal paste. Able to get my Ryzen 7 3800X to 4.3GHz with 43 °IDLE and 75° load. Definitely a recommended Cooler. Tip 2: if you cant get both fans on due to space in case have one fans in the middle and the other fans on top as exhaust from your case. This will help the fan in the back of the case and draw immediate heat out of the cooler.

Also ich muss sagen das Teil ist ein Klotz. Darauf muss man sich einstellen und am besten vorher sehr gut messen, ob alles gut ins Gehäuse passt. Aber wenn alles passt kaufen. Unbedingt. Preislich natürlich etwas hoch klar, aber man bekommt auch was fürs Geld. Der Lieferumfang ist sehr gut und auch alles wirkt sehr hochwertig verpackt. Die beigelegte Wärmeleitpaste ist auch sehr gut. Mit die beste auf dem Markt und sie reicht auch für mehr als eine Anwendung.

Everything about this was a good idea. Well worth the $$

Cools an I7 10700k like an absolute champ. However, be mindful of ram clearance. I had to buy a smaller 120mm fan to put on the front of the heatsink because the fans it comes with are too big for my case (Lian Li 215X). I was still able to use the original fan in between the two heatsink towers and just mounted the other fan it came with as a top exhaust. Overall, this heatsink was worth every penny. The guys at noctua really got their game together.
