Noctua NH-U12S chromax.Black, 120mm Single-Tower CPU Cooler (Black)

An excellent cooler. I previously had a Hyper 212 Evo installed - the U12S is much quieter and cuts load temps significantly, especially when overclocking.

Ich habe die LTT Edition erhalten, das generelle Kit ist super ausgestattet mit allem was man benötigt. Mein Ryzen5 3600 ist damit super gekühlt und die Installation war für geübte Bastler gut machbar. Der Kühler hat eine TDP von ~110W, selbst ein Ryzen 9 3950x kann damit noch ausreichend gekühlt werden. Ich habe in meinem Fall noch einen zweiten, identischen Lüfter angebracht, absolut nichts zu hören.

Easy install this was my first pc build and it was very easy

I was running an NZXT M22 Kraken liquid-cooled system on my ROG Strix motherboard with i5-8600k chip and RTX 2060. Not overclocked, playing games like Apex Legends, DOTA 2, COD Warzone, and Black Desert. I was seeing temperatures at idle, no load around 30 to 35 degrees C. After playing any one of these games for about 30 minutes, temps would exceed 80 and even go above 90 while in-game. Everyone said try re-seating your thermal paste, reset your bios to default etc. Did both of those things with little to no changes; thermal paste was Kryonaut grizzly by the way. So I start looking at Noctua air coolers. Considered getting the NH-D15 (the incredibly large 140mm cooler) but was concerned about fitment on the MB around the RAM sets. Found the NH-U12S in sexy black. Kudos to all the previous folks that wrote positive reviews about it, because I placed nearly all my faith in those reviews. Ordered it, and could not be happier. Temperature at idle is now high 20s; gaming under load for over an hour produced temps never exceeding 67. And because it runs cooler, the fans in my tower dont kick into overdrive, making gaming a quieter, more pleasant experience. These are the pros.

Quand on achète du Noctua cest pour la qualité de refroidissement et son silence, et sur ce point rien à dire. Cest excellent sur mon 2600X. Il prendra dautant plus dintérêt lorsque je changerai mon CPU vers quelque chose de plus costaud. Il refroidit très bien et en silence, je ne peux pas lentendre car ce sont les autres ventilos du boitiers qui prennent le dessus.

This heat sink and all involved parts feel very premium -- no sharp corners on the metal and everything fits securely in place. My spec list is:

Replaced an old Corsair 280mm AIO on an old Intel i7 4790k computer that I feared would break from age. Temperature is just as cool, with the added bonus of being quieter.

Who said CPU Water Cooler has better noise level?

Was super easy to install, and fit inside my NZXT H510i case without any clearance issues. Their mounting solution is very user friendly. Everything needed came in the box including a high quality tube of thermal paste. Mine ended up being the Linus tech tips edition, which was a plus for me. Has greatly reduced the noise in my PC compared to the stock AMD cooler I was using before with my Ryzen 5 3600X. Would highly recommend this cooler for those looking for a quiet air cooled system with room to overclock.

Combined with the ProlimaTech PK2 Nano Aluminum Thermal Paste , cut down my wifes heat output from 90C to 42C at peak usage. Phenomenal, and breathed life into an old FM2+ chipset! (Note, similar review left on the ProlimaTech product as well, as both items are phenomenal!
