Greater than one weekA definite need for any medical kit. Especially if you target shoot or use firearms on a regular basis. Great product and easy to use.

Greater than one weekHope to never use, but packaging was good and expiration date clearly printed on package (and not obscured by a sticker). Manufactured recently (not close to expiration date).

> 3 dayGreat addition to any first aid kit if youre paranoid about chest wounds (I know I am, thanks media). Just remember that if you DONT have one of these in your kit, at the very least carry some garbage bags and tape to slap over a chest wound. Lung collapsing will kill you way before blood loss. If the vent works when you apply it, great. If it gets clogged by blood and the patient has a progressively harder time breathing, you will have to remove it to let the air out. If they start wheezing and cant breath you will actually have to stick a (hopefully gloved) finger in the puncture hole to try to let that air out before you slap the dressing back over. Bubbling blood coming out of the hole is a GOOD thing. It means the air is getting released.

> 3 dayI am happy to have this pack in my trauma kit. I hope not to need it but I believe in being prepared. We enjoy sports where an accidental discharge could ruin your day. In that event being prepared could be the difference in a good day versus a bad one.
