> 3 dayAs few other reviewers pointed out - picture is grainy, dim around the corners, sharpness and keystone controls are useless, cheap packaging, flimsy plastic case that does not inspire confidence, no mounting holes for ceiling mount, remote control layout is unintuitive - good luck adjusting anything with lights off. Bought based on glowing reviews - should have done more research.

> 3 dayI wanted to wait awhile before writing a review on this projector to actually see how it performed in different lighting conditions and give my honest opinion on it. Personally i believe the picture quality is fantastic and the quality stays consistent whether you are creating a 50 inch screen or a 17 ft in your yard. The 4000 lumens performs really good even with a fairly good amount of light coming from outside on a bright day. The only real complaint I have for this projector is that the speaker is not that loud and the sound quality suffers a bit for it and it does not have a built in bluetooth to be able to pair a wireless speaker to it. Overall I honestly beleave its an amazing starter projector with great specs for the price.

22-12-2024I recently purchased this projector as a birthday present, it never worked. I received it on Oct 12th and the following day asked to return it, since the projector lamp does not work. Still waiting for an answer from amazon. Very dissapointe,d so far, with amazon customer service (more taking into account that I am a customer since 2011) Do not buy this product

> 3 dayI use the projector to movies, mostly. Even with some clarity from window, the images are clear.

> 3 dayI upgraded from an older, albeit top of the line (multiple thousands of dollars) projector to this one, and I have to say its very impressive at this price point. The picture quality is amazing and is compatible with the new PS5 games. Set up and control is simple. A small negative is screen adjustment is a little basic, not a huge issue, but I have a theatre room that has a painted outlined/bordered wall for a screen so I can get it to fit perfectly. I would love a response from the company because this troubling issue is happening when I power on sometimes and it wont connect to the input, sometimes it will load and skip, other times stay steady with load/searching text; I have to navigate thru other input options to get it to sync up and finally load the PS5 input. Would recommend tho after trying a few other projectors around this price point.

> 3 dayThe first time the projector was turned on it produced these vertical lines internally. It could be affected by the housing. I noticed when I was pushing the buttons on the top surface to adjust the screen the lines would start to disappear when pressing a button. Pressing down the top surface made the lines go away, something’s the lines would stay away for an extended period of time. The lines always returned. Additionally the projector lens seemed to slide out of focus, ever so slightly, to where the picture was just out of focus and slightly blurry. I had to adjust focus about three times during the length of the very first movie we tried using it on. I was excited about the product but my nervousness with projectors in general was only validated using such an expensive one and having similar issues to a cheaper one.

> 3 dayThis projector is mostly quiet and looks good but do not be fooled by the 15,000 hr lamp life claim as I was. A year and 1 month after purchase the lamp crapped out. And guess what. The manufacturer only waranties the lamp for 90 days. I ran a little math and if it had been on for a whole year that would have still came under 9,000 hrs... so they might as well say it lasts a gigilion hrs if they dont have to back that up with a warranty right. I thought ahead knwoing bulbs are a projectors weak point and bought 3 years of extended warranty through Asurion. Short story. Dont waste your money on it. Long storry after jumping through hoops for them for about 5 hrs my persistance paid off and they emailed me a lable to send my projector out to get repaired. A week and 3 days later i received my projector back cleaned and with a note that stated customer must replace bulb. Guess what. They dont cover bulbs. Isnt that great. Learn from my mistake. Know that, while the picture quality is good, you are buying from a company that wont stand behind their grandious claims. do yourself a favor and dont shell out the extra 50 some odd dollars for a 3 yr cleaning contract that takes years of your life due to the stress of just trying to get your warranty honored. IMHO Optoma and Asurion both suck and are permanently loosing a customer and gaining bad publicity.

> 3 dayI am a rookie with projectors. After researching for a very long time and getting a lot of feedback from friends that have projectors of their own, I decided to go with this one and IT IS AWESOME!!! It has far exceeded my expectations.

> 3 dayThe only thing I didn’t like about it was no Bluetooth for sound hookup nor was there really any good ‘out’ port for a high quality sound system.
