> 3 dayI have purchased two of these in the last month and both failed after a single rain. I suppose this is my fault for positioning this outdoor outlet in a flat position under a canopy. We have had some serious rain the last couple weeks and when the rain let up, my outlet was no longer working either time. Disconnecting the outlet and taking it inside each time allowed standing water to pour out. In both cases, the outlet never worked again. Getting it setup initially was great. I used mine with my SmartThings. It found it quickly, both outlets were easy to configure. I got it working through Alexa very easily as well (maybe thanks to SmartThings?). My expectation was that this device would keep the water out on its own because it was labelled outdoor and IP65. That was an incorrect assumption on my part. IP65 means dustproof and protected against water projected from a nozzle. If I were to spend another $40 on this device, I would disassemble the device and spray the board with Corrosion-X or something similar and then wrap the outlet in plastic.

> 3 dayVery easy to setup with my Wnk 2 hub and control with Alexa. I like that you get two outlets one controlled and one uncontrolled. There is one button up front for setup and to control the outlet. Works great.

> 3 dayThe biggest issue weve had came down to how do you turn on the 2nd outlet manually. The answer is double tap the power button. 100% user error. Its been rock solid from day 1.

> 3 dayWell unfortunately it did work from the hub to the wifi. But the Schedule would not work, not even the Sunrise/Sunset setting. Plenty close to the hub. Able to manually turn on and off, but defeating the purpose. Tried emailing and Chat, both no response. Disappointing cool idea but I tried many different ways and am somewhat Tech Oriented.

> 3 dayI bought this as I was looking for a solution for outdoor lighting in my garden. I decided to use this product with an outdoor power strip to power a group of LED lights. I connected this with my SmartThings hub without incident, and it has remained on the network reliably ever since. Control through both SmartThings and Alexa (by way of SmartThings) is flawless. It hasnt been through the worst rain Seattle has to offer yet, but so far so good. I bought the Z-wave solution because the range should be superior to WiFi. I havent tested this beyond 10 or so meters yet, but so far, so good.

> 3 dayGood to have 2 outlets but continued to drop connection to ZWAVE controller. Returned for refund.

> 3 dayI found this switch very unreliable. It frequently does not turn off or on with automation or commands, unlike the 200+ Z-Wave devices in my home.

> 3 dayI used this zwave switch to operate my outdoor Christmas lights this year, worked flawlessly. My switch sat on the porch out of the weather but cold temperatures didn’t seem to affect it. I’m not sure how well it would hold up out in the rain and snow. Connected to Smartthings quick and easy. I only wish, instead of having one plug switched and one plug on all the time, they were both switched independently. Overall I’m happy with it.

> 3 dayThe 2 z-wave plug version does not have a flat plug unlike the one z-wave/one always on version. This was necessary for me since my outdoor plug enclosure will not close with a plug that sticks out.

> 3 dayThe connected easily to my Hubitat Elevation hub, and I can name and manage both receptacles separately. All for a great price. The only thing I do wish it had was a 90° plug, but I couldnt find any Z-wave devices that do.
